Wizard 8 and 9 level spell selection

Was wondering since lvl 8 and 9 spells are not available in scrolls. What is everyone's preference on this?

Trap the Soul
Mass Charm Monster
Otto's Irresistable Dance
Greater Shout
Polar Ray
Mass Repair Critical Damage

LVL 9

Wail of the Banshee
Meteor Swarm
Mass Hold Monster
Energy Drain
Summon Monster IX
Power Word: Kill

This is what I think to choose but never used these spells and never had a wizard this high of level. I'm on lvl 7 so far. Have heard Power Word:Kill is useless but what would be a replacement. I figure there's 6 choices for lvl 8 and 6 choices lvl 9 as I'm leveling.

You can get all of those on scrolls from chests or AH.

Wail is a must.

Well first of all, they are all available on scrolls in chest, just not at the vendors. You can find most on the auction house.

for level 8 I would suggest - Ottos dance, Incen Cloud, Polar Ray, Sunburst, Trap the soul (no need for mass repair crit, just reconstruct yourself or others if you need to do that)

for level 9 I would suggest - energy drain, wail, hold monster mass, summon monster (PW Kill is useless)

Noticed getting a lot scrolls dropping for my rogue but never saw anything higher than lvl 13. Just wanted the good spells to select and get the rest from whereever. Just have look out for them later.
