I disagree. This might be a example of why PvP should not be expanded, but removing it will take time. Time that would be better spent else where like for example somewhere between level 15 and 20.

First off, /not signed. Guess what, the game is being balanced. The casters don't always have the upper hand in PVP anymore. And yes, getting shelf-hopped by a many-shotting ranger is annoying as hell. But, it's a tactic that works. Just like Otto's, Flesh to Stone, and Power Word: Stun. So what if he has a ioun stone? I know bunches of casters that have them in PVP. Congrats to a ranger for having one.

If you're sick of being killed in the PVP arena, then there's a simple answer. Stop calling for more nerfs and get the hell outta the pit. This is not a game based on PVP. Oh, and if you do sign up for LotRO, avoid the server I'm on, pretty please.

First you need to find a normal one with suppressed power (they have a small chance of dropping from exactly level 5 chests and end rewards). Then you need to upgrade it in the Dreaming Dark altar.

I use PvP to mess around with my Guildies if we've got nothing better to do, and most times, standing around shooting the sh*t is something better to do. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a good PvP system, but I, like many others, don't want the attention and energy of the Devs to go into that when it can go into fixing bugs and releasing new content. Unless said content is Lv 4 and below, because that's a waste of time too.

well by your own logic if pvp is life then you got owned by someone more experienced.

instead of crying go out of the arena get more experience and gear i dont see the ranger in here screaming for ottos to be nerfed.

PvP is only life is you are into physical contact work/sports to make your living. Other wise, if you can't take the heat get out of the arena.

as much as i love pvp, i dont bother in this game because this game is not balanced for pvp. i can run in with my monk and 1 shot everyone in this game and there is nothing anyone can do about it. yes i said everyone as there is not a single class/race/combo that is immune to be 1 shotting them on my monk.

this game is not about pvp, it will never be balanced for pvp and thus the OP should give up on pvp being meaningful in this game. no item will never get nerfed because of how OP it is in pvp because pvp is not balanced and never will be. this game is 100% PvE, you should be lucky there are even arenas and taverns to brawl in for fun as otherwise there wouldn't even be a place for you to cry and whine about something that will never change.

if you want pvp to be meaningful go play a game like world of warcraft which has a whole system for pvp where you can get shiny pixels for doing it over and over!
