    I was trying get the promo from U$9,99 with the 3 month and i'm just making a reply to say that this error still happen, at least with me, i have put the same thing that my bank/icc have at address and etc, and nothing good happen, have even opem the bank site, copy and past the info from there and din't work, have enter in contac with the suppor with a ticket, need say was fast the reply from they, but was what i alredy have see here at forum so din't work, have call to bank say is all ok with my icc, the 2 ones i have tried, all visa but from different bank.
    and i will not send a international fax or make a intenational phone call, just hope u fix that on site for all and put a paypal vip option too, it's too expensive use the pay by cash here on Brazil becasue U$: 1,00 dollar is normaly almost R$: 2,00 and the e-prepag (don't have any seller or reseller for gamecard here just his one for a "virtual buy") that sell the game card make almost a robbery since for U$: 20,00 card we need pay R$: 56,00, which btw is what i would pay for that promo.

    Same problem here.. just wanted to be VIP again, and for my surprise my alredy registered credit card is giving that **** error...

    Any progress on this error??

    Ok I got this problem today, wanting to once more upgrade from premium to VIP.
    After about 8 failed attempts and a call to my bank confirming that everything is fine I managed to get it working. They're right, its extremely strict.

    I'm in the UK and it seems the reason it didn't work was because the saved postcode was in the format AA99A99.
    When I put the space in AA99 A99 it worked fine.

    VIP again \o/

    Hopefully this might help one or two of you trying to resub.

    Same problem here. Tried today to update my credit card (already registered) and this is the response:
    * The system was unable to update your billing information. Please verify your billing information and try again later. If you continue to experience this error, you may wish to try another credit card or contact your issuing bank. To request further assistance, please visit support.turbine.com. [err: 30005]
    * The system was unable to update your account at this time due to a system error; we apologize for the inconvenience. If this problem persists, or resulted in any issues in your account, please contact Turbine Customer Service. [err: -2]
    Any suggestions?

    Same problem... 2nd day downgraded... called bank, credit card and everything was ok.
    Mine is over 1 year subscripton with same card and suddenly i got downgraded... amazing, isnt it?

    Well here I am again with the same darn issue.

    When i first posted this it took 3 days for me to finally resubscribe. I don't stay subscribed when i don't play.

    Now almost 2 years later trying to resubb again same error 30005

    I wanted to resubscribe before tomorrow's update but I guess not!

    How was it fixed for you? I paid for an expansion preorder and before I can submit the key I got I have to update my billing information, which fails. The irony is that the billing information they have on file is actually current and correct, so no idea why they want me to update the information.

    we have the same problem when we try to re subscribe my husband's account but whe can upgrade mine just fine. I can tell you there is no reason I can come up with for this. We bought our games at the same time (same day anyway) and have moved, upgraded, been head start and EVERYTHING at the same time always. the only way we get around this is to call account support any time we need to upgrade his account. It doesn't usually take more than a few minutes on hold (longest it's EVER taken is about 15 minutes on hold). If you are inside the US I would strongly suggest calling them (try borrowing a friends cellphone with free long distance if you can) but here is the account support information if you can't call them http://support.turbine.com/link/port...stomer-Support good luck to you all. (also try calling right when the open in the morning on a week day, you might have better luck getting through then)

    If after reviewing the tips in the sticky, you continue to have issues, contact Account Support via the information in my signature. That team will be happy to take a further look for you.
