They already showed a Displacer Beast in a D&D video game, an arcade game called "Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom". Here's a clip

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5zcY...next=1&index=1

The Displacer Beast will show itself around 2:35.

    This.

Put it in the loot tables. If any single alt rolls "snake eyes" the chest bites back.

Dungeon Hack, Menzoberranzan IIRC, certainly Secret of the Silver Blades, and Treasures of the Savage Frontier, probably Pools of Darkness (never could get into that one, partially due to the high level and partially because you can only play the same basic game so much before it gets boring, even with a new story) among others. There have been a lot of D&D based games, from the Intellivision on up to the upcoming 4E-based Neverwinter. Most of them that I played had a Displacer Beast included at some point or another.

I'll re-up teh Umber Hulk and GOBLIN chants. We finally got orcs and they are in like 5 quests, and still no goblins. Yes we have Hobgoblins, but no goblins for cryin out loud. Some actual fun creatures that we are familiar with would be sweet. I like that we are getting a medusa in game on the next mod, but some more of the old classics would be more what I'd be after.

And before I forget to ask for it as well, some more DEMONS would be nice if ya catch my drift. We have a whole plain to populate after all....

Once confusion state has been implemented then umber hulks for sure.

Changing from FEAR state, to stunned, to normal and "charmed" every 5 seconds or so would be interesting.

The confusion spell can come as well as a number of other spells that cause confusion.

A charmed player is the only thing that needs to be implemented .

When a player is charmed they should not be able to hurt their fellows, too much griefing that way. But lets them "debuff" their allies if they accidently hit them with a spell or a weapon swing, arrow would work just as well.

I suggest "betrayed" debuff. which would do this: doubles damage done to them, and gives them -4 to saves, -4 to ability checks this would last about 10 seconds. Also if a non-charmed player hits a "charmed" player the same way they'd also get the betrayed debuff.

Been wanting to see mimics for a long time.

To suprise people you just put them as a .5% (1 in 200) chance on any normal chest or lever in any quest > level 7.

That way you go to open a chest, whammo it changes. (once you kill lthe mimic the original chest appears where it would have been)

You pull a lever, whammo it changes and grabs you.

    Default Hmmmmm

I might need to do some reading up of Eberron. Only thing I know was playing Dragonshard which wasnt quite as DnD as I knew.

As for monsters, I always twisted the norm for my tabletop players, and would like to share some of them:

ThunderHulk (UmberHulk from the plain of Air or I believe its Lammania in Eberron)
Dragha (A human/dragon crossbreed...how many stories do you read where humans and human-disguised dragons fall in love?)
Gantuans (A kind of human version of the Thri-kreen, with a few specialised weapons for them.)
Dragon snakes (Huge snakes found in the oceans and deserts. Not true dragons, but then not true snakes either :P)
Bohemeth (I know there is a bahemeth, but this is a creature that looks like a giant gorilla with wolf features)
Trolgre (Gee, can you guess. These guys were always fun! Trolgremages were worse!)

I also did a monster that was related to cyclops, but they were 2 headed and subteranean. I just cannot remember what the original monster was called (I dont have my DnD books anymore) or what I called my version, just that the duergar considered it walking death!

A favourite of mine I thought of while playing DDO.....Dwarforged!! Something built by the construct master Haywire possibly! Imagine fighting a horde of 5ft high constructs with robotic scottish accents?

If I could pick only three:

    1. Behir
    2. Green Dragon
    3. Greensteel Golem (Mithril or Adamantine Golem if you insist on only things from actual D&D sourcebooks)
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Even more reason to implement it. No wish scroll or spell, and make it a PvP enemy in one of the pits, captured by an over ambitious tavern owner. PvP crowd busy for eternity, rest of us can stand and mock- er, watch.

While I don't know the PnP monsters well enough to request any, here are some request associated with gameplay that maybe others can suggest what might fit...

    1. Mobs with very high AC, medium to medium low HP, moderate to low fortification, that have DR that's bypassible by something other than a Min II. Let us be rewarded for bringing the right spells/weapons, and focus a bit more on to-hit rather than pure damage output. Make a reason to craft some other Greensteel or creative use of Red slots on epic weapons.

    2. Mobs that have attacks where a specific defense is highly effective. The stun from Horoth that provide a big benefit to light monks is a good example. Beholders and Mindflayers are also good examples (if the mindflayers were more prevelant in higher level content). These shouldn't be too common, but again, Im looking for being rewarded for bringing the right defense to the fight.

    3. Mobs that travel in packs. Killing big groups (using AOE and glancing blows) is fun, and beating on the same mob for 5 minutes can get old sometimes.

    4. Mimics. That sounds like a very fun mechanic.

    5. More mobs that heal, crowd control us, have high AC, and use other methods of defense INSTEAD OF JUST GIVING MOBS A TON OF HP.

Sorry, I know this wasn't quite what the Op was requesting, but any mob that fits the above profile, and has new artwork/animation works well for me. Variation is the spice of life...not just in terms of artwork/animation, but also in how you deal with them.
