    Umber Hulk
    Mimic
    Chimera
Basilisk (since the medusa is coming)
    Shambling Mound
Elder Brains (Since we already have mind flayers)
Kenku (come on, a bird using a staff? awesome!)
Gorgons (reminds me how about Demogorgon)
    Xorn
    Prismatic Dragon

Shrieker would be annoying - it would just sound like a pug of prepubescents playing the game. I guess you could get Tarrant to voice it (ya know, that noise he makes when he gets in Monday morning and starts perusing the forums).

What would be cool is some sharks in the harbor that jump up and eat people on the dock (like Samuel L. Jackson in Deep Blue Sea).
Oh, that's easy. I didn't farm them. I just cheated. -Meghan

Thumbs up new monsters in game

I started a thread like this over a year ago and some things have been added to the game (see underwater combat...eh, well, to a minor extent )

Many of the monsters in your thread are already mentioned in mine, I know many of these monsters have also been mentioned in other threads......here are some ideas though as well as a ranking system thus far. I agree we need some more monsters, especially end game and quite a few in the list below woudl qualify as well as some in your thread.

Maybe the DEVs will glance at it again.

Cannith! Too many alts to list. Lorrtusk, Lorrtank (my main), Lorrgar, Jimipage, Taurnish, etc.

Really good ideas in here. Makes me all nostalgic and stuff. Some particular monsters are definitely common on many peoples' lists.

If I had to guess, Displacer Beasts will be one of those "in progress." Why? Its classic, original, recognizable, and D&D fans immediately think of them. Besides, Displacement effect already exists in-game so all that work is already done. Easy peezy

I like a lot of the ideas in this thread, however what about going in a different direction than the ugly ol' goblin/umber hulk/owlbear/basilisk route? I don't know anything about Eberron lore, but how about quests exploring the world of the fey? There are sprites in the Partycrashers quest, and will-o-the-wisp in Red Fens, so what about also pixies, brownies, nymph, dryads? I'm imagining lots of mind control/charm/confusion type spells, swarms of annoying little creatures (think bats, only cuter), poisons, illusions... fun! Plus, there'd be another use for that cold iron.

On a related note, where are the spears? It sure would be nice to have another peircing weapon in the game. They could make a heave 2 hander, a light 1 hander and a thrown version. Would be a cool compliment to the new HalfOrcs and especially the upcomming Druids. I cant even imagine a world where a druid DOESN'T use a spear.
