Default straight capstone kensai 3 fighter vs kensai 3 fighter 2 rogue

    assuming halfling

fighter 20 gives 1 feat and 5% double strike which is nice but not nearly as nice for dual wields as it is for 2 handers

rogue 2 gives the always awesome evasion, and avg 6.5 sneak attack damage

    any thoughts?

The capstone is 10% doublestrike. Which is an increase of like ~7% overall DPS on a TWF.

Although the UMD/evasion/baby sneak attack is nice.

you could always go 18/2 and then if you don't like it or once you get to 20 and want to be a full 20 fighter, use a +2 lesser reincarnate heart. At least I think you could do that.

I had a level 20 Kensai 3 Maxed DPS At About 550 HP (Dwarf w/2 min 2 DWA)
    (Dragoon of Thelanis)
Had a 20% Hate on A DT Heavy Armour For safe measure if Hate Tanking But was Not Happy with the HP Pool While hate tanking

I used him As an Dps or Hate Tank

I switched to 18 fighter/2 rogue which now puts my build at about 10-12% shy of the Most Insane max DPS Builds as I traded out the capstone and some STR for extra Con for 750 Unbuffed HP but have kept the maxed out Fighter,Dwarf and Kensai DWA
    enhancements

Picked up Light Dragontouched Armour With 20% Hate and Distintigrate Guard as well as a 10% Hate tod set

So Dps Is still Top Notch with a great HP Base and the invasion is worth the trade off as a twf as you have the decent dex to cover the evasion.

30% Hate gear is Plenty to cover any gap possible to keep the hate from other melees if you are hate tanking

I have tested this change in all raids Including hate Tanking horroth in Elite TOD, All In all a great Tradeoff.

Evasion for the win, and if you do not have Aggro or deception is in play sneak attack damage as well

I may try this when I TR back to fighter. If I don't like it I can always use a +2 lesser heart and go pure fighter. In my TRs I have come to love having a couple of rogue levels

Having the same delima with my dwarven stalwart intimy. With 20 ftr I get a useless (to my build anyway) feat and a capstone i dont even use. However, not sure if splashing 2 rog for UMD and baby sneak (evasion wont work in heavy) is worth it and pally is right out cause of aligment.

The 2 lvls would put his UMD at about 35 unbuffed (enough for scrolls and all gear) and the extra d6 sneak when im not main tanking would help but still not sure about it.

I would say if you TWF and wearing light armor do the splash since evasion is always a good thing. If your THF or wearing heavy just stay pure or maybe (depends heavily on build) a pally splash for immunities and aura.
