So, after two recent VoN runs being failed by those that (apparently) didn't understand the quest, I've been brainstorming ideas that might be a good fix for the quest that will stop players who know the quest, as well as raid leaders, go "Fuuuuuuuuuuu....."

Here's my suggestion, in a twofold manner:

1) Make Velah "blocked" until she is officially aggroed. It's all well and cool seeing her down on the ground, staring at you, ready to cook you and the like, but seeing someone throw an enlarged firewall on her through the doorway, thereby aggroing her and shutting the entire party out, really is not a healthy option. If she's counted as blocked for both spells and ranged weapons, then it'll help to ensure less nerd rage, in the end.

2) Let the door stand open for roughly 5 seconds after someone DOES aggro her. In the end, this probably still spells death out if some jerk rushes the dragon, but at the VERY least, as many people can get over the threshold to give her a good fight before either they (or the dragon) dies. I know it might not make sense from a lore aspect, but, then again, neither does the door reforming after the pillars are knocked down, the moment you fight her.
-As an alternative! If the pillars could be reknocked down upon the game sensing everyone on Velah's island is considered "wiped", that would alleviate this as well. Just simply have her heal to full, as well as the pillars, have her take off, and resume the fire attack.

Please turbine. We've dealt with this enough. I love the dragon raid and all that comes with it; but to lose due to some silly person rushing in, and never even getting the chance to fight the best looking dragon-in game?

It'd be nice for a fix.
