Default Quests that can be Stealthed

I would like to make a list of quests that are stealth friendly mostly for use with my solo rogue.

Not all quests can be done without some combat so I'm looking for quests that you can avoid much of the combat and maybe get a bonus for avoiding killing things.

    Lvl 2
    Stealthy Repossession.
... Babies first stealth quest 8)
    Stopping the Sahuagin
    ...
    Retrieve the Stolen Goods
    ...
    Lvl 4
    Depths series
... Kill a named but most other combat is avoidable.
    Lvl 6
    Redwillow’s Ruins
... Each named named must be killed to get the possessions to drop so very hard without using sound to lure them to a safe kill place.
    Lvl 7
    Gwylan’s Stand
... same as redwillows. the lieutenants must die.
    Lvl 9
    The Claw of Vulkoor
... Stealthy repossession 2 now with more scorpions!

There are many more if you have favorites post them and I will try to list them all in order. If there are special comments then put them in. My goal is to have a list that any stealth character can look at a do if for some reason the urge to group is not there.

Before we had Korthos there was a quest known as "the low road". The goal was to simply reach the other side of a sewer tunnel. The quest has been revamped and is located now within the korthos wilderness (the quest nearest to the village; "Stopping the Sahuagin I guess it's called now). It's a little harder to stealth it now. You can't go without killing now as you have to kill at least the big spider next to the puzzle trap.

The last part of the Cartamon quest chain where you have to retrieve some stolen goods. There are lots of kobolds around but most are sleeping. It's possible to sneak and avoid quite some fights.

Redwillow Ruins might be another candidate for sneaking. Although you can't skip killing some giants.

Gwylan's Stand as well as you would only need to get the powder kegs and use it on some boxes. But you can't go without killing at least the elves who activate the traps.

I added those quests but I'm not sure they fit unless your real good at splitting the mobs up.

Garrison's Missing Pack can be done with minimal kills.

Slimes (up to three I think, but number varies with rare name spawns)(I did it with two slime kills)

And the five guys in the room at the end fight. (door to pack will no topen if you do not kill al five guys in last room.)

Sacrifices (maybe, depending on where the girl to be rescued spawns) could be done with zero kills I think. But Spiders in the front will either have to be killed or run away from. If girl spawns down ny named guy though, you have to kill some guards to get gate open. I think the gate near exit does not require kills, but I could be wrong.

I have stealthed through a lot of Misery's peak actually, but that can go bad easily.

Gambler's Den. But I have not been totally sucessful since they made a change to it. but I blame myself, and I think it is still possible.

Sunken Sewer. I have done with only agroing the end boss. But it is real difficult to get across that bridge, and to fight the end boss without agroing the scorps. However, the chest will not open if you do not kill the scorps so maybe that does ot matter.

Missing in Action has a few slimes, some in difficult spots. But could be done with very little kills. I usually screw up when a slime takes me by surprise or when I try to get a secret door open. The Lightning traps suck on elite. But I beleive I have gotten them down unseen before.
End boss is a required kill.

A big portion of Dirks can be stealthed.

Some of the Necro one quests can be stealthed in theory. But mobs seem to spawn when you enter a room, and drop from ceiling.

Parts of Gwylans. A couple required kills. That are difficult to seperate from their friends. And using the boxs brings you out of Stealth mode, but can be done.

New one, Claw of Vulkoor(sp) in Red Fens.

Those are the ones of note that I can think of right now.
I'm a better low lvl stealther than a high lvl one....do better when the stakes are lower. lol.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.

All of Bastion of Power until the boss room (which contains more combat than many stealth guys would feel comfortable with on their own)

Thanks for the input. I'm going to see if I can get it formatted better and update it.

I don't mind a little combat but just love a quest that makes you feel devious when your done 8)

Monastery of the Scorpion is a biggie for any stealth list.

Stealth in ddo is not well enough implemented if you ask me... the mechanics are just not good enough. If I want to play a stealth based game I play Arkham Asylum <3

Quests that are designed with stealth in mind or allow large amounts of encounters to be bypassed:

    • The Sunken Sewer
    • Missing in Action (Warning, contains some oozes)
    • Stealthy Repossession
    • Retrieve the Stolen Goods
    • Recovering the Lost Tome (doable with no kills and low detection)
    • Garrison's Missing Pack (Warning, contains some oozes)
    • Bringing the Light
    • The Sacred Helm (with the exception of the end fight and the oozes just before the end fight, it is doable without killing most things or provide quick jumping points to leave encounters after pulling levers)
    • Venn's Trail: Venn's Fate
    • Repossession
    • The Depths of Despair (Warning, contains some oozes)
    • The Depths of Darkness (Warning, contains some oozes)
    • The Cloven-jaw Scourge: Caverns of Shaagh (with exception of the last couple rooms)
    • Under the Big Top
    • Tomb of the Crimson Heart (with care around the ambush ghouls)
    • The Lair of Summoning (with exception of a sometimes deadly end fight, contains oozes on hard/elite)
    • Halls of Shan-To-Kor (the main non-boss section you get detected, all of the critters can't move)
    • The Deadly Package: The Stronghold Key (except for the initial spiders)
    • The Deadly Package: Agent of the Darguul
    • Redwillow's Ruins (except for the required kills)
    • Doom of the Witch-doctor: Zulkash, Herald of Woe
    • Doom of the Witch-doctor: The Way to Zulkash
    • The Bounty Hunter
    • The Scoundrel's Run
    • The Last Move: The Way to Yarkuch

    • The Fane of the Six: Cleansing the Temple
    • The Fane of the Six: Fall of the Prelate
    • The Claw of Vulkoor
    • Slavers of the Shrieking Mines (except for the required kills)
    • The Sanctum: Church of the Fury
    • The Chamber of Rahmat
    • The Chamber of Kourush
    • Maraud the Mines
    • Made to Order (with a potentially nasty end fight)
    • A Relic of a Sovereign Past (except for 12 required kills)
    • Running with the Devils (except for 7 required kills, one of which poses a large obstacle in terms of damage output)
    • Rainbow in the Dark (has a few required kills and bats)
    • Monastery of the Scorpion
    • Sins of Attrition (except for 5 required kills)
    • Bastion of Power (with a deadly end room)

Somehow I knew you'd make an appearance and set everyone straight. Knowing that, and being about halfway through my second bottle of sake, I figured I could just post my favorite stealth quest and wait for the big guns to arrive.
