Default Inherent speed bonus for monks?

I know that barbarians have an inherent speed bonus. Do monks have a similar one? And if you performed that appropriate alignment change and dual classed, would they stack?

I am putting together a character for the platforming style challenges that Turbine tends to like to give us, and want to give him every speed advantage.

Monks get an extra 5% to movement speed every three levels. You can not do an alignment change to multi-class with a barbarian. Monks must be lawful and barbarians must be non-lawful.

Its impossible to multiclass barbarian and monk. They have conflicting alignments and even if you have the alignment change item you can't change to a conflicting alignment. But yes they have a similar greater speed enhancement and if not for the alignment issues I suppose they would stack.

    Edit: Gah, I've been ninja'd.

You can't change to a conflicting alignment?

So, to be absolutely clear, I couldn't go to Lawful Neutral from True Neutral when I have the Barbarian class?

    That is correct.

It IS possible to do this in Pen & Paper with a cooperative DM since going lawful on a Barb or non-Lawful on a Monk just means you can never again level that class, but you still keep the class abilities.

Since most campaigns don't have a DDO Store, this isn't likely to happen, however.
