I'm at work, so can someone tell me if this includes the two new ones?
25% is the second best I've seen them at. I bought the ones I was missing when they were 30% off. I just need the two new ones.

The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

I know it includes Phiarlain Carnival but when I looked through today's deals I didn't notice Red Fens.
It is probably the best you will see them at for months (if not longer). THe ad indicates ALL quests, so that should include the new ones too. Only the poorly moving ones tend to get the big sales. (and by poorly moving, that could just be that not many more people have been buying them cause we all picked them up earlier.)
Think about it in real terms thou. A quest pack that costs 500 TP ~= $5
25% off lowers the cost to 375 TP or ~$3.75
30% off lowers the cost to 350 TP or ~$3.50
Is putting off playing any given quest pack for possibly months worth a quarter? For second accounts or for quests packs out of your level range, sure might make sense to wait, but for stuff you might actually be doing soon or now. Just go for it.

It's a really good deal (especially for the latest adventure packs) but I dunno really if it's worth getting anything. Would be a shame to get something now that might end up even cheaper in the coming weeks. We still have 21 more unknown items that will be 50% off, pretty sure that at least one or two adventure packs will pop up there.

I have a feeling this will be the cheapest they will be until the holiday season kicks in about 6-10 weeks from now. I certainly will be picking up both if they are on sale. I was just not sure the Red Fens would be, since it is so new.

HEY, I'M TRYING TO SOLVE THAT!
STOP TOUCHING MY PUZZLE!
TOUCH MY PUZZLE ONE MORE TIME AND YOU'LL BE SORRY!
PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS GAME -- I QUIT! AND YOU SHALL DIE!
Nice!!! This coupled with the current 6900 TP deal can mean a premium player can save a lot of $$$ purchasing all the Adventure Packs in one shot.
I'm off to buy some outstanding packs, thanks!

450 x 0.75 = 337.5
Unfortunately the store doesn't show fractions during sales, and so it rounds up to 338.
If you buy 2x 450pt packs, then you get charged 337.5 x 2 = 675 pts, instead of the expected 674.
Personally I wouldn't bother sending in a ticket for something worth about 2 cents (and probably more like 0.7 cents depending on which TP pack you bought), but thats just me.

It's a shame that this attitude will allow Turbine to rip off their customers in the thousands, which adds up. Specially in a micro transaction business model.
It's a shame people don't see this on a global scale, and it's implications as a whole.
People farm for 25 points. Getting ripped off 2-5 points in a few transactions can add up very quickly.
Get something straight, people aren't being ripped off for an extra point per transaction. They are paying exactly what they should be. Even in cases where 0.5pts are rounded up to 1 is just like in the real world where half a penny is rounded up (usually due to sales tax).
The problem lies in the display of the store that doesn't show fractions of a point. Every time there is a sale, we get a thread or 10 like this about people getting all up in arms because of a single TP. It would definately be in turbine's best interest to do one of the following:
1) Display fractions of a point, and put somewhere that any fraction will be rounded up (Best option).
2) Change all store items so that any sale will not result in a fraction of a point (Difficult, unless all future sales are set at some known number such as 25% off)
3) Change all sales to a set number of turbine points off the original price rather than a percentage (probably more manpower intensive than setting a percentage).

wrote a long ramble on this...reconsidered...its not worth my 2cents on the topic...

Explain why the recent 50% off Shared Bank tab 595 = 298 on store checkout display, also equalled 298 when it was invoiced and points taken out of someones account.
Then the recent 50% off Character Slot 595 = 297 on store checkout display, but this time 298 was only displayed on invoice and points taken out of someones account?
So the issue is advertised price versus invoice price. In one instance they can advertise it correctly to avoid any perceived theft. Consistency is the key.
If it was a physical department store it would not gotten away with, with a consumer advocate available to regulate the store. With the virtual currency it's allowed to get away with it, as it's only 'little' bits here and there. It's always in Turbines favor, I'm sure if it was in the players favor they would have addressed it a long time ago.
oh man,
gotta clarify the emails, it absolutely appeared as though the sale would be to the 9th, but apparently that was not the case.
