So..
moving over from the EU servers seems to be taking a while. I know, I'll start a vip account on the 'Global' servers so I can fill my time whilst waiting for the migration to finally happen.
--First attempt via the myddo menu in-game. Result= Fail. Sorry we cannot update your payment details at this time blah blah blah. It suggests that maybe I don't know where I live.
--Second through to sixth attempts: through my ddo menu, try various versions of my address, triple check my card details are correct, still no joy.
--Seventh through to fifteenth attempts: This time trying to update my payment method on the Turbine account page. Same error. Tried every possible combination of address (some websites get confused if you live in a suburb of London and want you to put london for both town and region, others do not).

--wait two days--
--get a response asking me to first, do exactly what I've already tried, then to try phoning my details to the account team, or faxing them--
--Sixteenth to twentieth attempts: In the spirit to show willing try the turbine myaccount page as suggested by account support. Result: fail, same error messages.
--Twentieth to twenty-sixth attempts: Repeat on both myddo and turbine myaccount with my other credit cards. Result: fail, same error message.
--Twenty-seventh attempt: phoning account support. Result: Phones aren't working at turbine offices.
--Twenty-Eighth attempt: Faxing account support. Result: Fax 'bounces', presumably the same fault as with the phones.
Overall result: Epic fail to create a subscription to vip. Irritation factor 90%. Grumpily playing f2p.
Possible solution: I don't know.. posting an envelope of cash to turbine maybe? Or perhaps account subscriptions could be paid via paypal? After all turbine points don't seem to be a problem.
Give us a clue Turbine.
