    Default Hurricane Earl

I'm currently in a training facility in Stamford, CT and have been obsessing over the hope that my 4pm flight out of LaGuardia on Friday will get me out of harms way in time. Now though, my thoughts turn to those who live here and nearby and I want to express my sincerest hopes that it all blows over without any problems for all of you (this means you too Turbine). My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you [and I may physically be with all of you as well ]

If you haven't, spend the $12 or so for trip insurance. Pays for meals, motels, cabs if you get stranded.

I live on the water on the south shore... shouldn't be more than a little coastal flooding and a little wind. As usual news media are blowing things way out of proportion. This stuff every year like clockwork, and every year we get the same treatment of exxagerated broadcasts. We haven't had a good solid storm since Gloria.

Good luck on your trip, but everyone knows that afternoon flights out of LGA are always late.
    Have a nice day!

EVERYTHING out of LGA is late, never mind the afternoon.
