Just a note: the faith tenement that allows for bringing an ally back from the dead 'good as new' is the Undying Court, accessible only by Elves (not including Drow).

Unyielding Sovereignty removes nearly all states, plus heals 1000 HPs. That's the sense of "good as new" smokeyser intends, as I read it; rez first, then clicky to get back up to fighting trim, not clicky to rez.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I toss a quickened res and then unyielding. Being able to remove death penalty while fighting a difficult encounter is priceless.

My mistake on that. I just wanted to be thorough and make sure that the OP knew that the Unyeilding Sovereignty would not 'bring an ally back'

An elf cleric would benifit well if its a battle cleric. since a scimmy is better than a long in every respect I can think of.
