HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

Over the last couple of days I've been getting this error when switching between threads or posting.

It started for me last week I think.

I'm using IE 8 - File version 8.0.7600.16385.

I'm using a different version of IE at home, but getting the same errors.

+1 getting lots of 500's today using IE.

On Firefox I get "Problem loading page" with a "connection reset" error.

I kept getting this using & in the password. Seems the list of usable symbols should be double checked and changed. In another post they say "You can use !, @, #, $, or %" which solved getting this white page and failing to create an account, as well as trying to change passwords.

Tips to fix-

Try Reloading the Page.
Clear Your Browser Cache.
Check Your Server Logs.
Check for Errors in Establishing a Database Connection.
Check Your Plugins and Themes.
Reinstall WordPress Core.
Check for Permissions Error.
