Neither do I. I pulled one in an earlier toon around lvl 11, saw that it's a longsword against undead, thought "meh" and asked if "anyone" wants a sunblade. To my surprise the ranger in my party replied "yes. me" immediately while the pally shouted "yes" a little later (after he saw the chat). I didn't know it was so valuable, and still not sure why, but then since I offered and the ranger replied first, I just passed it to the ranger.
So erm, back to the topic, how much is it worth? And why is it so special?
It is so special because they do the same damage as a +5 Holy Short Sword of Pure Good (and same attack bonus as a +4 version) while being minimum level 6 instead of minimum level 14 for the +5 H SS o PG (ml 12 for the +4 version)
//Edit Oh, you were asking for a specific price range. I have no idea, but I know why they're valuable.
"It is so special because..." replaced the original "They are worth that much because..."

You can pull Sunblades in 3 places I am aware of.
1. Gwylan's Stand
2. Delera's Graveyard ( Part 3 I think)
3. And the easiest place.....The Subterean "Skellie Run"
The rare skellie encounter in the sub offers the highest chance of pulling the coveted "Sunblade"
Plenty of other decent loot drops there also, so it is worth running multiple times.
It is also where you can pull the "Mace of Smiting" and of course..the Icy Rainments.
That being said. I have several Sunblades....Look for Estrada or Dravun around 5PM EST and I will take care of your needs.
Have a nice day, and please come again.
Dravun , Yocoba, Daivik, and so many more.
Proud to serve the Imperial Assassins!
Do not drink the awesome-sauce......One must BE the awesome-sauce.
Sunblade is one of the few named items that can drop just about anywhere in the level 6-9 range, as well as in the Sub Skellie chest.
It'd a 1d10 finessable slasher that uses the shortsword proficiency - one of the best lowbie weapons in the game for undead.
Heh, now I regretted not thinking over it longer and keeping it. Oh well. BTW, I pulled the Sunblade on Chamber of Insanity elite.
i cant be on at 5, i have cross country practice till 7
