So i hit von 5/6 run, everything goes fairly smooth, we get to the end and then bang! half a group(6) recalls and are gone.

to be clear, this wasnt von 5 farming lfm, seriously, 20k exp isnt worth getting blacklisted

i dunno it really doesent get much lower than that, it wasnt my run, i admit i was there mainly for exp as well and maybe one of those odd 1-2 useful items that once after million times load, but i do not bail on others above mentioned way, thats nonsense

if i ever see anything like this again i will start blacklisting and wont just forget and move on like its been so far. and i dont care if it helps me, hurts them or such, ill just do it.

go ahead, pull off everything you have, i step off this train next time, and merry times being alone, do it repeatedly until all blacklist you.

maybe its time to stop being nice and forgiving towards everyone, i position myself among veteran players, have never seen quitting on group in such large scale befor, if its new player thing coming along with new players, then sorry boys and girls, learn some manners or get the .... off this game.

(note the IF? im not trying to start another flame war vet vs newcomer, just that what goes around comes around)

When did they drop? After Titan and before dragon or after pillars and before dragon?

i have 2 quick questions

so does the 20k exp apply per toon youve blacklisted, or is it my whole account?

and if its per toon how long after the blacklist do i get my 20k exp, i just dont like to wait. kinda impatient....

I feel for you mate, seriously sucks. Hopefully this isn't a general trend, we didn't have this behavior back in dead-EU-land! There was an other thread with similar discussion, mostly I personally stick to the end... if simply possible.

tried same thing some time ago, with majority of group dropping at end of VoN5. Asked one of the droppers why they bailed before dragon. Answer was that he didnt know you had to enter the circle to get to VoN6. So give the new players a chance, and a little information. Thats the way i try to do it. And it works........

Some of the True Reincarnations are farming certain quests for XP. They don't want to go do something else for 3 days while waiting for the raid to reset but will instead grind VoN5 till it squeeks and come back for the Dragon once they are level 20. Not my style of play.


The way I figure it is I might as well give VoN6 a shot and see if I can get something for my trouble besides XP. Others do not want to finish but will at least stick around to help the group with the pillars and then finish out. I'll keep an eye out for your groups for VoN if you intend to run again and I at least won't drop.

yes that is understandable, it wasnt von 5 farming run according to lfm, so its still intentionally screwing us, i really doubt those people didnt know about von6 at all, raid leader knew half a group will bail on him tiny bit befor we finished, i msut have missed something after i went afk til people shrined for endfight.

as soon as quest was done and exp handed in, befor any1 entered von6 yet

im quite sure it wasnt the case here, people knew what they were doing whole run

i have 2 theories why they dropped,

1: i got my exp, everything i care about von, baj baj, dont care
2: some people may have had personal issues regarding us telling em to stop kiting the boss and letting melees actually kill it, or any other conflicts i wasnt aware of. resulting in dropping as soon as they got their share from quest

as for first theory, this wouldnt really be anything new, there have been some examples in shroud pugs, where ppl dont wanna help others to finish all parts and dropp at middle.
