Warforged are not classed as a 'person' to the other playable races, they are classed as a monster.

So, to a Human, Elf, etc player OR monster, they must use Hold Monster on a Warforged.

However, to most of the enemies we fight in DDO, all of the player races are classified as 'monster' to them - i.e. a Giant would use Hold Monster on both a Human and a Warforged PC, a 'Person' to the Giant is another Giant.
