A couple of general comments:
- Pure melee rangers usually don't go DEX-based: it costs a feat on a feat-starved class, lowers your DPS vs. STR-based rangers, and doesn't provide enough of a boost to to-hit & AC to make up for it, IMHO.
- Melee rangers pretty much always go for the Tempest PrE, which requires the Dodge, Mobility, and Spring Attack feats. You've taken exactly none of those.
- Rapiers are a better weapon choice than shortswords, particularly for drow since their racial enhs apply to both.
If you really want a DEX-based drow ranger, consider something like this:
