Default No luck with gianthold relics

I guess i'm just really unlucky here, i need 7 more dragon relics for flagging, i can trade them for the same number of either giant or elven relics.

Please reply here or send me a pm

currently i can only play at the weekend and at odd times, so the deal might involve sending the items via mail on a base of trust.

Also, for your next character, the different walkups drop different types of relics, I believe dragon relics come from A Cry for Help and Foundations of Discord.

    Thx, good to know.

I just farmed the rares over and over again and got way more giant and elven relics, since those chests drop random ones

You should also note that near the gianthold banker is a guy who will give you 1 of any relic, for 3 of any relic. So if you have 6 extra giant relics, you could get 2 dragon relics in return.

In addition to build on the first poster, relics drop as such:

    Giant:
Madstone Crater (1-3 in last chest, chance of one in other chests)
Maze of Madness (1 in last chest, chance of one in other chests)
Trial by Fire (1 in last chest, chance of one in other chests)

    Elf:
Crucible (up to 1 in each of 5 chests)
Feast or Famine (1 in end chest, chance of one in other chests)
Cabal for One (1 in end chest, chance of one in other chests)

    Dragon:
Prison of the Planes (1-3 in end chest, chance of one in other chests)
Cry for Help (1 in end chest, chance of one in other chests)
Foundation of Discord (1 in end chest, chance of one in other chests)

As far as I can tell, there is no difference in drop rates on norm, or hard/elite. Casual likely has lowered drop rates, but I never run these on casual.

Aye, i know you can trade them at the npc, but i think its more use to trade them amongst players.

Thank you for the info, i'll use it once my other characters reach the gianthold.

Use the stormeye teleporter. Follow the dwarves, kill'em or not, turn right around the mountain and go up it. Kill the mindflayer. Open the chest (need knock/lockpick), get yer relics, recall, reform, repeat. It's not rare, the chest is always there. A simple a-relic-per minute program. Or 6 relics if u got friends who don't need these.
