Hello... lorica is one of the oldest guilds on ghallanda and we would be proud to recuit new players levels 1 through 20 to repopulate the ranks! We are a tight group of players from euro to all around the world, we wish to help you flag for Reaver ,Titan ,Demon Queen, Vault of Night among others. We raid every Saturday and do flags all week long and well as Shroud runs in groups etc.

Really? When were you formed? Not trying to be offensive - I would just be very surprised if a guild that had been around that long had stayed that quiet.

Iam not sure if Lorica is one of the oldest guild but it is definitly older then 1 year (this is the date i joined em).

The biggest problem was and still is that the former guild leader and some others left. Not the guild but DDO (for many reasons first of all time to play). Btw please excuse my english (from germany ;-) ). Thats the main reason you maybe have heard nothing from this guild so far.

The guild is at lvl 34 now. But we still need some new plp to join us. Like Punch described we are trying to help each other out and run some quests and raids together (NOT like Sabbath). Of course we can Zerg but do not want to.. ;-) most of times...

We have some experienced players and some new plp. Some from U.S. and europe.

Just check the founder's fountain list. If they are on it, they are old. If not, then they are not... Only real valid test of an old guild...

Eh - yes and no (although my original point was based on the assumption that the OP was a player that did not realize that 2009 was not the "original" beta.)

Look at RG. They have been around forever; but not necessarily under that specific name. However, I do look at them as a founder's guild regardless of what the stone lists as a name. Now, my POV could be quite erroneous from THEIR POV, I honestly don't know, because I don't B.S. with them enough to have their perspective.

White council is listed on the founders list - and most of the core leadership of WC is now a significant portion of Sabbat's leadership. Does that make us founders? I don't think so - because in this case, our philosophy is different than WC's was.

For all I know, Lorica IS on the founders list too. It was a question; not an attempt to be offensive. If their guild is primarily active between 4am-7am EST, they could easily be a founders guild that I have never heard of. I don't know - hence I asked.

OP only made the comment that Lorica was an old guild, which if it is listed on the fountain, then I guess it is an old guild. I could not check it myself. Your point that the people in the guild may be different is true too, but the guild itself has tenure.

I was just pointing out that guilds and toons listed on the fountain is one way to define old without much dispute.

Yeah... i think thats because the guild was founded by 4 plp. None of them is playing DDO anymore. I can say that the guild is older then a year. Because i joined Lorica at this time.

I do not think that it is important if it this or that old...

Well we are discussing guild politics atm. The idea is more like a helping guild. Some sort of this new "friends of nice and slow" guild without the slow part... :-))
