Default A minor issue for colorblind people

    Im colorblind.

Yes I see colors, but can not tell certain colors apart. ex : blues and purples confound me as do greens and reds

Some of the quests puzzles have color coded keys and wheels.

The colored wheels have their color on their name ex : Green wheel / Blue wheel / Purple wheel

But their corresponding keys do not have the colors name on them

This makes some quests impossible for me to solo

Is there any way to add the name of the color to the puzzle keys as well as their corresponding wheel

I have colourblind friends who say this as well.

Wait until you do a reaver...

This really should be fixed. Fortunately, you'll often be with people who can do it. It sucks to be dependent on others for something like that, but at the very least it won't entirely wreck your game.

They have made steps to improve this, but you are right they could do a lot more.

I personally can't tell which barrels have X's on them, which can lead to some embarrassment.

Have a color blind guildy who soloed reaver he just remembered turns.

A big pain in the rear for him and others there is a need to implement some kind of symbols and such that would help these players.

Wow I never even thought about bringing this up with the dev's. I've suffered through some quests only recall out because I suck at colors. I'll either call the wife over to help or if she's at work then my 5 year old helps me.

    It really sucks!

So you aren't just red-green colorblind I take it, since you have problems with blues and purples?

Anyway, I believe I remember a comment about labeling colors from one of the staff somewhere, so I think this will be added eventually. If I'm wrong, then this still does need to be added.

I'm red-green partially colorblind, and this basically means I can't play some puzzle games (such as bejeweled) because I can't tell two different objects apart.

Bejewelled jewels have different shapes. I doubt you haven't noticed THAT yet.

Very recently a dev mentioned that they are working towards fixing this. No timelines though.

I should have said games LIKE bejeweled where the different shapes are less obvious or non-existent.

An improvement here would also help those of us running on the lowest graphic settings which makes it impossible to read the runes on wheel puzzles, the pipes on floor puzzles, and the X on explosive barrels.

To facilitate this, I'd recommend bug reporting color-blind-unfriendly situations as you come across them.

Thanks for bringing this up. The team is currently discussing possible fixes.

I have trouble with colors as well, so most quests that had wheels, I had to ask the person doing them and try to memorize how many turns on each wheel

Those of us who can see the colours still memorize how many turns anyway
Devs: Thanks for making Druids available to VIPs without the pack. This more than anything, has made me want to buy the pack.

perhaps adding symbols like other color/symbol puzzles.

As long as the puzzles dont' actually have the words (ie. purple, orange, ect...)
