This doesn't surprise me. They are a group of high level powergamers. Small groups of powergamers on other servers are at the top of the renown list (some quite a bit higher than aLiclan).

Aye, from my playing with them in Europe I (and many others I suspect) would say aLiclan are exactly the kind of high-quality player, relatively small membership guild you would expect to see up high on a leaderboard calculated in the way this one is.

Don't forget the small guild bonus. It's based on accounts, not characters, but here's a discussion on how it works:

A 16 *account* guild gets you the most bang for your buck atm, pulling in the equivalent renown of a 40 *account* guild. At 48 characters, I'm sure aliclan gets a very nice bonus - I dunno how many accounts they have though.

Have run with them once in a ToD. Very nice group of people. Managed to complete with a Sullu kill even after Horoth decided to bug out and decided not to pay any attention to the only guy hitting him for the last 2 mins lol. Very nice recovery if I've ever seen one.
