There was this dude named trankton that could drink a case of beer do judos mom and pike all at the same time he was the best ever. Sadly thou he had to take a break cause judos mom got so fat he couldnt see the screen anymore while he did her so he just drinks and harpoons the whale.
first off - hugs to wizzly! i've been around you just haven't seen me :P
i agree that Cercive rocks, but what about Inspire?! Aside from running raids with his eyes closed, he knows the builds so well he can mix and match to make a toon that makes NO sense yet still kicks ass!
So i'd say Inspire first, Cercive second, and Sock third. As far as pure dps though, i'd have to go with Tonin (he just lacks mario skills lol)

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest man. Willy Wonka
Its telling of attitudes about the game. If you see this as a competitive experience where teams vie for the greatest prestige, then ya, most killer death monster wins. If you see it as recreation where the goal is to laugh and forget the days troubles, then most congenial is probably best from your perspective.
I'm not saying one attitude is right and the other is wrong. Just that it depends on why you play.

Perfect Sigtrent! Precisely the point I attempted to convey in my last post. Main difference was I stated it from my own perspective and experiences and you kept it third party. Both are good, just different choices.
So sorry for the missing sig Clay, didn't realize how critical that was as I was identified earlier in this thread and have done nothing to conceal my identity, lol. Just for you it has been amended and it is current as of today. (It does change as toons pass and are replaced with others, aka permadeath) I made no attack on your guild nor your chosen game style so grow a pair and stop crying every time someone mentions your guild without puckering up. My statement was that I will not group with Legion. It was prefaced with I play for fun and only with mature players. These are all my choices and I stand by them.

general play toons: Dragolarc, Thraxxus, Qwil, Dragoloss, Lejend, Dragolyre
permadeath toons: Draegoloth, Draegolas, Draegolyon, Dragolich, Dragoloch, Dragolore, Dragolute, Dragolynx
Sig, The point was mentioned before, Ren came up with different categories. It was suggested that one has to get along to be a great player. I was using sports as an example that that is not true. It was not a reference to my own philosophies or how I play. The different categories is a much better way to broach the idea of "Best Player" because the definition is so nebulous.
Relik, no need to apologize. I just find that most critical people of Legion usually do so from anonymity. Like they don't really believe or stand behind what they are saying. /shrug.
And I really don't mind people criticizing my guild or me. You are entitled to your opinion. I don't mind that you won't group with Legion. The things that trouble me are as I mentioned. This thread was intended for a light-hearted discussion. The commentary about one's guild was trolling. It is interesting that people will pointing a finger at Legion and act in the same manner while doing so.

It was an okay example but not a great one, it's not universal. It only works for those who see DDO as a sport, and even then it's somewhat flawed, a team in which individuals get along is often more likely to succeed. Remember France at FIFA 2010 World Cup? And for those who don't see DDO as a sport but as a, say, form of collective entertainent, it's even less relevant.
Let me see if I have this right. Wizzly was in AA and naturally booted after a few weeks for being Wizzly. He then came back to Thelanis, not using his mic, and you guys recruited him back into AA, due to his being a great player and cool guy. Not sure why you invite people to guild you don't know and have never spoken to, but hey, it's your guild so whatever. In any event, once you figured out you were duped, you kicked him again and now you're mad at Wizzly for duping you.
About right?
I recommend you step back and try to look objectively at the situation. You'll quickly see that you have to give Wizzly kudos for this play. Extremely funny and creative stuff looking at it from the outside. Getting butt-hurt about it and looking for sympathy is just going to draw more attention to yourself and make you look even sillier.
Best bet, give Wizzly a virtual high-five and laugh it off.

It gets better...while I was having some issues with my voice chat, sometimes it would work just fine and I would talk regularly (hell, you, and several others, knew who I was from 2 words). I'd say probably at least half of AA knew who I was prior to my "announcement," but of course all were "surprised" and "offended".
I learned a lot from that incognito. I have a lot of hate centered around me on Thelanis, but its all disassociated from my playing. Until the "right" people knew Ryumasuta was Wizzly noone had any issue with me. Hell, I was just taking a sojourn without the Wizzly hate and wound up having people left and right who supposedly hated me asking me to join their groups and guilds.
Which, of course, makes me wonder why all the hate in the first place. For sure I've done some bone-headed things, but everyone does. Oh well. Soloing is much more my cup of tea for now.
