New to the end game, what should I be aiming for on my three tiers of Dragontouched armor?
Thanks!

depends on your build, on your stats, your playstyle and your other items

I assume its a barbarian, judging by the forums.
Tentatively, I'll say:
T1: Resistance +5. Very nice slot saver.
T2: Exceptional Con +1 (or Exceptional Str +1 until you get your FB ring)
T3: Either Earthgrab Guard or Disintegration Guard. Depends if you want a CC guard for trash, or a modest increase in DPS against bosses (assuming you're tanking).
That pretty much holds for any DPS oriented character.

Yea sorry should have specified DPS not really tanking.
Is there a difference between Earth Grab Guard and the Ice one?

Earthgrab is autocrit.
Don't know about the exceptional con +1... it's not like he needs the hit points as a barb.
If you're WF you're gonna want healing amp, IMO. 10% healing amp/20% healing amp (crushing wave/corrosive salt if using leviks bracers) / earthgrab guard (disintegration guard is nice, proc rate rather low... destruction is also very nice, but will override tod sets which is really desirable)

After debating, and getting both forum and in-game advice, I decided to get +5 resists on my eldritch, +20% healing amp on my tempest, and destruction on my sovereign.
I haven't met a player who didn't agree that it was sweet.
If it helps, I made this thread a while ago to discuss this very issue: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=244558
Hope it helps
this works out particularly well for epic. Hitting a red named on a 2 is far more valuable than a on proc shroud effect. Once you're geared enough, destruction becomes less important, but still may matter for others as well.
personally the above armor is what i'd recommend if you only want to craft 1 set of DT on a new barbarian
Shadowsteel [TR train wreck]
I have made a few docents that I’m happy with:
For epic I have my 10% healing.amp/ 20% healing.amp/ Destruction, but +5res on first is also a nice choice.
For trash I like my +5res/crushing wave/Earth grab guard
When I tank I put on my incite 10%/incite 15%/incite 20% (silly one to make but I couldn’t resist)
I also have one +5res/20% healing.amp/Radiance guard. It procs a lot but not sure if im gona keep it.
my barb: +10% incite (more agro(+10%)), magma guard (workin on corrosive), and disintegrate guard
Khyber - Nuic (TR), Zapn (TR), Alixer, Nuiq
The one I tend to use the most has:
+5 res, 20% heal amp, Earthen guard
The earthen guard (stoneskin) procs extremly often and gives /-10 DR
My other Dt armor has:
+5 res, 20% heal amp, Destruction
Corrosive salt on your Tempest is not awful. There are other places you could get your 20% healing amp: bracers, crafted onto ring.
I would quite like to make a 10%, 20%, (+ more?) one just to shut up my guildie who regularly grumps at my little robot![]()

Stoneskin will not stack with the barbarian passive DR. So when it procs, you will have your DR 9/- already, and be gaining DR 1/Adamantine of true benefit. It's still a benefit, but not much of one. A monk's passive DR 10/Epic is the same situation.
For verifying purposes, take a friend with you to a pvp room, and have him beat the snot out of you with a dagger. Dagger only deals a 1d4 spread of damage, so it makes a great test weapon. Have him hit you about 50 times so you're confident in the number spread. Then have him hit you another 50 times with stoneskin on. The numbers will be only shifted down by 1 (or 2 or 3, depending on if you spent AP to boost the passive DR)
