I am having trouble running DDO while at college. My college does have relatively slow internet, however I know of others who play MMORPGs on this network, and I myself was able to make WoW work without lag even during peak hours, so I'm hoping that I can find a way to work around this.

I'm getting constant latency of 3,000-4,000 ms, with occasional spikes up to 5,000. The packet loss hangs around 1-3%, with spikes of 5% rarely. Online bandwidth tests put download speed around 8,750 kbs. I'm connected via a CAT6 ethernet cable. I'm running XP, service pack 3, on a partition on a Macbook.

Is there any way to make this work? Any help would be appreciated.
