Question Did I under price this?

After running shroud, i got a +2 silver pure good seeker +10 khopesh with racial requirement dwarf umd 22 min level 12. I asked the people in my group if anyone wanted it. They said no vendor it, I asked how much should I ask for it, and one guy said start at around 200k. I put it up on the ah for 240k starting 360k or something buyout. I go back into shroud, and by the time i come out its sold. Curious I go and look on the ah at level 12 kopeshes I see one up there thats exactly the same racial requirement dwarf and all for 1 million starting bid, 1.5 million buyout. Wow was it really that valuable? So just as much or even more so than a bloodstone?

As a DR breaker with seeker 10 I can definitely see why people would want it highly. 360k may have been a little low, but I doubt it would sell for 1 mill plat. I would have probably priced it at about 450k with 550k buyout.

+5 Metalline/PG Khopeshes sell at around 350k PP. This was quite a bit better than that - it's about as good against a 50% Fortification fiend as a +5 Holy Silver (assuming no other source of Seeker used and a Khopesh in the other hand).

I'd have tried for 800-1200k PP.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Well yes and no. You posted a fair price and got paid, the person who bought it is the jerkwad driving all AH prices through the roof. Don't worry you didn't get ripped but you could have gotten alot more for it.

    Edit for unintelligible posts
I ransacked the Millers Good's and all I got for it was this stupid T-Shirt.

    ^This.

    I wouldnt worry tho.
Hopefully the person that bought/reposted will never sell it.
Majority already have equivalent or better when it comes to a weapon whose main purpose in raid bosses.

    Take the 350k and run.

Lol, you saw the same exact one on the AH because that moron bought it and is trying to resell it.. Don't worry, you'll be able to look at it failing to sell on the AH for weeks to come. A million plat is way too much, most people use Bloodstone, so +4 more seeker on only a +2 weapon is not that big a deal. A good price on it would have been about 500-600K I'd say.. Either way it was a nice pull and you made some plat off an idiot.

You probably could have asked another 200k on buyout. Whenever something sells in an hour or two it was probably under priced. Unless you need the cash feel free to push the buyout higher. Worst case is that someone buys it 3 days at something closer to min bid.

He was refering to most people having a bloodstone which is seeker+6...

So therefore the seeker +10 is only +4 more than the bloodstone.....

And Bloodstone is seeker +6.. 90% of melees use Bloodstone, so it's only 4 more than they currently use. I r gud at math.

Do not feel bad, what your experiancing is what has been slowly killing off the in game economy and its oly upside is it forces new players to consider the DDO store for starting twink gear. Ive seen lvl 2-6 twink gear sale for such incredibly high prices Its only a matter of time before the DDO store follows the example and starts offering low lvl race req items with above average stats on the store to.

The prices on AH reflect mainly peoples sheer greed( a major sin) and ignorance. New players come to the game see what is being bought and sold and jump on the band wagon, old players either just accept the way it is and pay with thier incredibly deep pockets from years of grinding, or pay for gold on ebay which yes still happens endlessly, just met a group last night in a pug and half where bragging about buying 50 mil plat for 50 bucks off ebay.

Personally I say keep anything so good for yourself always. If you stay here long enough you will want to try a build who uses it, if not sure is nice to link now and then to show off as one of your big treasures.

Nothing you can get i this game especially rare random drop gear is worth selling nor paying for the high prices set. plenty of good named drops one can depend on, epic raid items, and eventually gods willing the DDO store. Until then dont let the fever catch you and stay strong. Coin comes and goes freely dont let it become your reason to play.

Ive also seen people in general chat in the market place boasting about buying a few million plat for 10 bucks off ebay ect, and then actively arguing that its ok and only logical, why spend time grinding for stuff if you can just buy it with real money? I gave up trying to argue with them, i pretty much said this Um its bad because the plat farmers are pretty much forcing you to open your wallet? If the plat farmers didnt up the prices people wouldnt need to buy plat, sure there will always be inflation but i think stuff like that just makes it 100 times worse.
