There was, until they got slewn.

In the suggestion I did for a Daelkyr raid, a Purple Worm figured prominently...

The ninja mask I *think* offers a hidden bonus to.. it is either hide or move silently. Whichever one isn't stated.

These are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
The fluffy bunny hat adds +3 to any UMD check (at least it helped me equip items shortly after the 5 point sale) as long as you have a wand in your hand.

WARNING. The fluffy bunny hat can not be removed short of logging out (and needing to reapply it). There doesn't seem to be a /showbunny off nor a /showrabbit off. Expect to have a rabbit clinging to your head forever after if you need that +3 to equip your Epic quarterstaff of magical beast stompage.

I did end up buying a weapons "for spiders", but it will also have other uses: Keen shortsword of improved destruction. Since crimsonfoots have DR/piercing, I will TWF them with that one plus my other shortsword: Axiomatic icy burst with Force Critical ritual. Should work even if Axiomatic does not affect them -- and improved destruction will come handy in many other situations.
I finally got to Vale (seriously, an entire week of preparation!), and above seems to have been a right decision. In DDO it is rather difficult to estimate a mob's AC, but I would miss any Crimson foot a lot until hitting it with either Destruction (bow) or Improved Destruction (new shortsword). After that I could DPS them.

And here is another post about Crimson foots having really high AC

This is only true if you have */showhelmet off* activated. If your helmet is showing, all you need to do is swap helmets and the bunny hat is gone.

don't know about drop rates, but on the AH, greater construct bane is hard to get. Portal beaters...

(I believe my suggestions were something like Greater Lightning Resist, Greater Acid Resist, Animal-bane, and Vermin-bane, which would still have a left a really unattractive item)
I made one of those for fun back when tome pages were plentiful. I'm still hoping the epic version is decent, like +10, greater living bane, vorpal, radience 2, grants weilder permanent displacement and dr 20/-

off topic: Wondering if improved destruction is working properly, I tried hitting my friend's alt at the arena; to my surprise, the weapon effected -4 AC on his toon for one minute, isn't it supposed to be -8 AC if it is improved destruction? Am I missing something here? Tested it 3x, same effect.

    Back on topic:

This data is accurate for Greater Bane Dream Edges (from Mindsunder) and I suspect it's how the game allocates which greater bane to put on any item.

After determining that an item is a Greater Bane, roll 1d100 to determine what type.
    1-4 - Aberration
    5-8 - Animal
    9-12 - Construct
    13-16 - Dragon
    17-21 - Elemental
    22-26 - Giant
    27-30 - Dwarf
    31-34 - Elf
    35-39 - Goblinoid
    40-44 - Gnoll
    45-48 - ½ling
    49-53 - Human
    54-58 - Reptilian
    59-63 - Orc
    64-68 - Magical Beast
    69-73 - Monsterous Humanoid
    74-78 - Ooze
    79-82 - Chaotic Outsider
    83-86 - Evil Outsider
    87-90 - Lawful Outsider
    91-95 - Undead
    96-100 - Vermin

Bane and Lesser Bane items are similar, with tiny differences (Elemental Bane and Lesser Bane items are slightly rarer).

Plant bane stuff has been popping up now. Not sure if it's just in the Red Fens yet.

I believe (and am not certain) that those aren't random loot, but are awarded as turnins for Swamp Pearls.

Saw one on AH few days ago. What plants are there to "bane"? Is it just new for Red Fens?
