    Default Exploitress

    Based on the famous Exploiter: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=168687
    But with a twist
    By using Dual Longswords as an Elf - we gain Air stance and Elf racials
    This should be close if not surpass Khopesh

    We do lose Combat Expertise and OTWF - OTWF is offset by elf racials
    CE is slightly offset by higher Dex and Air Stance
    Also lower HP

    Updated because of bug in builder - now everything is legit

    Looks interesting, air stance also gives you faster attacks and a chance for double attacks (7.5% respectively 2.5% chance), but I don't know if this stacks with Tempest III. Fun build anyway.

    If air stance attack speed do not stack, you could always use fire stance instead and spam 1D6 in extra damage from one of the stance attacks, but you lose some AC then.

    This is true against 100% fort enemies, but I find it unlikely that the boost to attack speed & double-strike chance is enough to offset the difference in crit multiplier. Personally I don't think WSS is worth the feat cost on a monk splash build like the Exploiter; but I'd like to see someone run both thru the DPS calculator to be sure, though.

    However, apart from the loss of AC from not having CE, there is another issue with this build: Tempest III requires TWD, OTWF, Lightning Reflexes, or TWB; I don't know how you tricked the builder into letting you add Tempest III, but you have none of those feats.

    Really if you wanted to do something like this with an elf, I think it would be a better synergy to go for a solar phoenix variant. Tempest III just isn't that great anymore.

    12 ranger/ 7 monk/ 1 rogue (or 12 ranger/ 5 monk/ 3 rogue*) will get you similar results DPS wise, but adds self healing, extra feats and more AC.

    * more skill points over all, and better sneak attack damage. takes a small BAB dip and a tiny HP dip plus looses access to monk improved recovery II (so 10% healing amp dip)

    Just a thought.

    I should mention I've got an elf version of my Tempest Phoenix. Currently only rogue 1 / monk 3 / ranger 7 IIRC, but she's worked out well so far: no l33t DPS build, but free healing is always welcome.

    OTWF is a pre-req for Tempest III, didn't read the whole build but did you take one of the other ones?

    Must be a builder issue - will need to refigure but will unfortunately most likely need to swap out Toughness as everything else is required
    Will update when I do

    Guess she lived up to the name

    Found it - typo in EnhancementFile:
    PARENTHEADING: Ranger: Prestige Enhancement;
    ENHANCEMENTNAME: Ranger Tempest III;
    DESCRIPTION: Your skill with two weapons is unequaled. You have become a whirling tempest of steel and have one addtional free attack in your attack chain when two-weapon fighting. In addition, you now gain a +4 shield bonus to armor class when two-weapon fighting, and your attack bonus penalty has been reduced by 1 additional point for each hand.;
    CLASSLIST: Ranger;
    LEVEL: 18;
    PROGRESSION: 66;
    COST: 2;
    NEEDONE: Feat: Two Weapon Defense, Feat: Two Weapon Blocking, Feat: Oversized Two Weapon Fighting, Feat: Lightning Reflexes;
    ICON: Tempest;
    NEEDSALL: Enhancement: Ranger Tempest II;
    LOCK: Elven Arcane Archer I, Ranger Arcane Archer I, Ranger Deepwood Sniper I;

    NEEDONE shuould be NEEDSONE

    This option!

    Monk bonus feat at 6 is good - and air stance II is excellent!

    I'd go this route - the extra couple of feats v the exploiter isn't going to hurt anyone.

    Updated build to allow actually taking Tempest III - but will play around with that split to see if it complies - will post if it seems interesting

    Ok - posted 12Ranger/7Monk/1Rogue here: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=270200
    By using Shortswords we save alot of feats
    Also Ninja added more Sneak Attack
    Not sure which is faster/more dps
