Question new, limited on time, player

My brother and I are new players that get very little playtime in the evenings. He has interest in the Barbarian, so I chose a Fighter to compliment the DPS line. We will run around with Cleric hirelings.

My question is, what is the best stat and feat progression for a leisure player? I have the 32pt and WF unlocked, but prefere Human (not set in stone). I dont have crazy money or expect to hit level 20 in this lifetime, but want something crazy fun to play.

Anyone bored enough to suggest or help me pick TWF or THF?

Since your brother's playing a pure DPS class (barbarian), you might want to play a high-AC tank: you draw the mob's attention while he beats them from behind. Good times!

I posted a dwarf THF build yesterday which might do the trick; it can also be adapted to other races if you prefer. Starts out as a greataxe Kensai, but can switch to Stalwart Defender at lvl 12. Takes two +1 tomes to pull off as built, although the +1 CHA can be delayed - or skipped entirely by dropping Force of Personality.

For a WF Evasion tank, Big Rock Candy is pretty great, but its tome reqs are a little higher: +2 DEX for ITWF & GTWF, +2 INT for CE. A THF version similar to my build would be lower DPS & lower AC, but easier on the tome reqs.
