    Default Books?!?!

A got a AD&D 2nd Edition group starting up again. Trouble is I can't find any of the manuals online anymore. What gives?

    Limewire....zip
Google...download companies out the wazoo. "Free" isn't necessarily free.

Had tons of manuals, some I think in storage, but wanted to get familiar with the rules again.

Anyone know of any sites to find 2nd edition books or .pdfs? I keep falling over 3.0-4E $hit.

    Please PM me.

E-bay is your best bet. Sounds like you don't want to have to buy them but it seems like the only option as i've had no luck the past few months either. I am guessing when 4th Ed came out Wizards put a giant hammer down on all the unofficial sites.

Ebay and Amazon are your best bets. Barnes and Noble and Borders online used book store is good too but stuff seems to be going for more on there the other sites. If there is a half-priced books near you check there too.

As for digtial copies check WotC site they have several 2nd ed mods and what not on .pdf(might have to go digging through the site for them) and a friend of mine has aquired quite a library of mods and whole books from torrent sites.

Amazon has a whole heap at really low prices... i mean criminally low. Also, don't bother with the WotC web site the old stuff you are referencing has been taken down (the link still exists, but it no longer goes anywhere).

Speaking of criminal, Torrenting copyrighted material is bad, however not all of the books are still in copyright (btjunkies would probably be best for that kind of thing).

If you want to find them online, only place I've been able to find them free is at http://www.4shared.com
There is an "Alternate" Forum, PM Strakeln for details.

Hey thank you all. Found some stuff I've been looking and will probably do the online hunt for the Real McCoys.

I was looking for some AD&D books a year or two ago, the only place I found was E-Bay. I got PH, MM 1 and 2, DMG, Unearthed Arcana, Fiend Folio, Oriental **** (I never really liked it), and 1 other for about $40... a pretty good deal, imo.
