    Drop Cleave and Great Cleave.

    Max Fighter Haste Boost.

    Drop some toughness enhancements.

    Pick up Dwarf Axe Damage.

Fit in Quick Draw to make the most of your boosts.

Be aware that once you reach higher levels THF without an epic SoS (great sword) will give poor results compared to TWF. It may be better to go Wf so that your bonus damage is not restricted to Great Axes.

+rep for making your own build rather than having someone else do it for you.

    Default Twf

What would be ideal stat breakdown of TWF? I came up with 18 str, 16 dex, 16 con, 8, 8, 8 with a dex tome sometime before level 6.

Also, how is Sword of Shadow any better than an +5 Adamantium Greataxe?

SoS and eSoS have a bigger damage dice than a Greataxe, and a much better crit multiplier/crit range. Crit multiplier/range is a huge part of what makes weapons good.

Personally, I would drop the Spring Attack line, and go with more toughnesses to replace them. You will already have no trouble hitting, even in epic, but you can never have too much hp.

    Default I'm lost

I guess, I just cant understand how 2d6 18-20x3 can be better than 1d12 19-20x3 (sos vs bereavement) with the added bonus of dwarf axe enhancements. Number-wise it just doesn't seem to work out for me.

Okay, spring attack line is gone, it was actually just filler because I couldn't think of anything else.

And if I were to go with a great sword build instead, I would probably be better off with a Human right?

SoS on its own isn't as good as a greensteel greataxe, epic SoS however is a killing machine.

Its 5d6+10, 18-20 *3, in the hands of a pure Fighter it gives the highest non situational DPS in the game.

Wow, ok, So I think I and going human greatsword build, I have always valued consistency which greatswords offer over great axe, thank you two for your help. =)

And what about the Power critical feat, is that worth putting in place of cleave or one of the spring attacks?

I am also a bit confused about Quick Draw, what do I need a range weapon for aside form pulling?

And does Human Improved recovery effect potions (my guess is no)?

Okay, so here is my updated Human GS THF build, what do you guys think of this one?

Power crit is a useless feat, especially for fighters. As a Kensai, you need to take enhancements that buff your crit confirm anyway. If you can hit things on a 2, you can confirm your crit, with a seeker item and crit accuracy enhancements, crit confirm becomes a non-issue.

Despite what Quick Draw says, it really helps your action boosts be quicker. Action boosts are a huge part of being a fighter.

Improved recovery helps with potions too.

A dwarf with a G Axe should do more than a human with G Sword. What makes G Sword better than G Axe is eSoS, and that's very far away from you right now. You can always reset your enhancements (they use the same feats). Although, come time for when you make your Green Steel, you should figure out which you want.

Well, I guess since I was actually running out of useful feats by the end of my build I don't know how much I gain for going human, I thank you all for your help, I think it is now time to start playing. =)

Problem is basically all I had left were fighter feats, and for whatever reason, toughness isn't one of them.

The key to overcoming that, is to delay feats that fit in fighter bonus feats, and organize it so toughness can be taken as your regular level feats.

Alright, so delay reward for a bigger reward later, I think I learned about something like that in kindergarten, must have forgot. =)

On that note, how important is Power Attack early on? Because without delaying any focus, specialization or two hand fighting feats it won't fit in until 18 if I keep all fighter feats in the bonus levels.

On a THFer the sooner you take PA the better, IMHO; you ought to be able to use it on trash mobs almost right away. Perhaps you could take it instead of one of your 73 Toughness feats? HPs are important, but geez, they're not the only thing that matters.

I would take your dwarf CON enhs for +2 CON, maybe a couple extra Toughness enhs; that's a more efficient way of boosting your HPs, IMHO. You'll probably want to drop your armor mastery enhs; at a glance, this is not a high-AC / tanking build, AFAICT.

Was intended to be more of a dps fighter, but changing the enhancements around a bit wouldn't be to hard, thanks for the advice.
