Default Adivce on GS Gear for Clerics

Just finished my Conc/Opp goggles last night. It was the one piece that I really wanted to get finished, so yay me lol.

Okies, so thats done, What now?

Do I make another Conc/Opp item? will it stack with the goggles?
Make a Conc/Opp weapon? does that stack with the goggles?
Finish my Holy/Goodburst Khopesh? (needs tier three)
Make an exceptional stat boosting weapon?
Make an Item - something with a guard such as the disruption guard?

Advice from the more experienced would be greatly appreciated.

Two con-op items won't stack but a Con-op weapon and a Con-op item will. I suppose it depends what other gear you already have as to what you need. I have pretty much everything I want already on my cleric in terms of spell points and power, so I'm just making her an HP item. Maybe exceptional Con so that I can take it off my dragontouched and get the efficient empower heal.

Second Conc-Opp accessories will not stack, do not make them.

A Conc-Opp weapon will stack, but this is considered a bug by the Devs, and will be nerfed when/if they can be bothered doing so. Not a good use of ingredients.

My advice (assuming your Con-Opp is the pretty common Blindness Immunity/50 SP/100 SP, and that you are somewhat into melee given that you have a double positive khopesh): Consider one of the following:

1: (Budget option) Air/Air/Air hitpoint item. +45 HP, 3 96 second Haste clickies, and a knockdown guard (plus an unreliable Haste proc). Requires Essence of Cleansing from 20th Shroud completion.
2: Lightning Strike Khopesh (Holy, Shocking Blast, Shocking Burst)
    3: Radiance Guard HP item
4: Disintegration or Lightning Strike guard HP item
    I don't have a zerging problem.

For me, first 2 items are:

    Con Opp, +150 SP
    and
Either air/air/air or earth/earth/earth, aside from weaponry(if you use it)

Con opp is obvious, and the cheapest way to a 45 hp item are those 2.

If you are wearing the gloves from the Reaver Raid for you healing lore, you might consider...

Greensteel Gloves With Blindness Immunity, Disease Immunity, Immunity to Fear, Proof against Poison - Symbol of Weakness (3/day), Superior Healing Lore

They are cheap only needing one single shard...
Sarlona - Guildmaster - Brotherhood of Redemption - ddoborguild.com - 2016 & 2017 Players Council --- Alts: Acetylene, Antimematter, CNG, Dilithium Crystal, EMF, EMPulse, Exothermic, Geothermal, Hexane, Hexyne, Hydropower, JA, Kerosene, LPG, Natural Gas, Nuclearpower, Propane, Solarpannel, Tidalpower, WASOB, Waulter, Windpower, Woodpile

The goggles i have, as sirgog indicated are BI/DI, +50, +100 sp on the goggles. Pretty traditional i know, but if it works....

As for gloves, I do use the ones from reavers, I aslo switch them out between spectral gloves, titans and gloves of the glacier. I do like the healing lore aspect, will have to consider that idea.

The next item will be a set of bracers, as that seems to be the biggest hole in my gear most likely with added hit points and a superior guard like disruption or lightning. Was looking thru the combinations and didnt see a radiance guard, so i will have to play around with it more to see what that will take to build that.

Double the cost I know, but its worth it in the end i suppose. Besides i have time, as I only have 15 shroud completions. so there is plenty of time to farm the larges and have enough materials to get tier two done already.

First a warning - Greater Disruption Guard is terrible. Don't let that stop you making an item if you really want three positive shard effects, but even against undead, Earthgrab Guard is better.

I strongly recommend a 45 hitpoint item, which then lets you choose from all 21 Aspect effects. The ones worthy of your consideration are:

Earthgrab (2 scales): 5% chance to proc, DC 35 Reflex save, melee or ranged attacker that fails save is held for 4 seconds
Radiance (6 scales): 15% proc rate, no save, ~14 irresistable damage and blinds melee or ranged attacker
Air Guard (2 scales): ~2% proc rate, trips melee attackers, also randomly Hastes you. One of the best clickies.
Lightning Strike (5 scales): ~2% proc rate, 600 lightning damage
Disintegration (4 scales): ~2% proc rate, ~450 untyped damage
Mineral (5 scales): Provides Heavy Fortification for slot consolidation
Smoke (5 scales): Provides permanent Blur, and one of the best clickies
    I don't have a zerging problem.

Radiance and Smoke are less useful for divine casters, though, since they get the uber-spell known as Holy Aura.

Good point, although making heavy use of Holy Aura to blind everything costs a lot of spellpoints.

Personally I can't resist spamming holy aura every now and then to get some nice tharness sneak damage in. But then again I'm at 2700ish SP with my FvS, have no idea if a cleric can afford this.

My pick would be a lightning II weapon, as I'm finding myself fighting more thrash mobs than silver/good bosses (and a plain met of pg or epic antique g-axe is good enough for divine melee). But I'm soloing a lot.

Oh, how I wish I crafted this weapon before wasting larges on conc-opp... maybe if I got the torc beforehand... eh.

Bah, I *love* my Conc-Opp (and the Torc gods have not smiled upon me yet). That said, Lit 2 weapons are excellent, and better than Mineral 2 against DR 15 Pit Fiends like normal Horoth.

The Epic Antique Greataxe will take a *long* time to imbue with Good damage, as it takes thirty Epic Dungeon Tokens - a week of farming for most players, and almost out of reach of people that aren't in guilds that hit Epics heavily.
