Bummpity bump with some new, though not very useful info!

So I got a reply back from Turbine's tech support and this is what they said I should do:

    1. To start exit the game launcher if open (right-click the DDO "shield" icon near the Windows clock)
    2. Click on the Windows "Start" button and choose "Computer" from the list
    3. In there double-click on your C: drive (may display as "Local Disk C")
    4. Double-click on the "Users" folder
    5. In Users double-click on the folder that matches your Windows Vista Username that you log into Windows on
    6. In that folder double-click on the "AppData" folder (See Step 7)
    7. Please note that you will need to enable hidden files and folders view to locate the "AppData" folder, click on: Organize: Folder and Search Options: View (tab) and check off the option to "Show hidden files and folders".
    8. In that folder double-click on the "Local"
    9. In there double-click on the "Turbine" then "Dungeons and Dragons Online" and then the "Launcher" folder
    10. Within there right-click the file "LauncherUserSettings.xml" and choose delete and relaunch the game to test

Now, I did this, exaclty as they suggested (I run windows 7) and my game still doesn't work. I still get the exact same error! Hurray!

Few more back and forth emails with Turbine tech support, all of their suggestions this far are not working. Still having the same error. At this point I'm wondering if the tech support is automated, or a room full of trained monkeys throwing darts at a foam board filled with stickynotes of random fix ideas, and the notes that are hit by darts are the ones that they email to me.
