Server downtime...

No to sound like a winny little B, but this server downtime is starting to chap my arse.. I am a daytime player and l have been screwed out of 2 days in the past week. Today its down from 6AM till 3PM ***!!!!! Is this what lm paying for is to have to wait for server downtime on my days off and not be able to play when l want to really l only have 2 days off a week and l do look forward to playing this game and l am getting screwed here why does this not get scheduled at night also its always during daytime... Im sure l wont get an answer from a DDO employee but just thought l would throw this out there and see what people thought... later all..

Just reviewed the ToS and glad to see that it does not say anything about a time frame that lm speaking of when they will do server downtime so me ranting about when they do it is still a valid complaint and something they could look into doing during after hours if possible but thanks for your concern have a great day and hope you "enjoy" the game also....

l did all weekend with wifey now she is at work and lm home alone wanting to get my Green Steel cloak list checked off so l can sport a new item and this down time is crunching on that plan.... Just wish they would give some notice, like 3-4 days before they do it not the day of...

There was 3 days notice on the forums, IIRC.

You obviously did not read it....it clear covers times when the game is not available. It doesn't give you a schedule as this is announced in game as well as on this web site. That was the schedule. The ToS gives them the right to make the game unavailable as needed.


Again the schedule is on this website...and in your face EVERY TIME you log in.

And its been up for several days.

Why not make a Youtube video of you crying and throwing a temper tantrum. Really.

It's always this time our (Australian) Prime play time that the servers are down every 2 weeks.
Its annoying because it's the only time I really get to be online for long period of time (like most other aussies I know). During the day (The rest of the worlds Prime Play Time) I'm busy with RL issues and housework.

But there is nothing you can really do...Find other ways to enjoy your days off

When you've had a chance to calm down about the injustice done you here today.....and reread what you posted and think for more than 2 seconds.....you might wanna reconsider posting such drivel up. That yes the times are clearly noted and considering they work in the day time......that's when they do major IT work. The server populations tend to be highest in the evening and nights. Thats why they don't schedule them for then.
Not sure about the playing at night so I have no life comment....seems you equate all evening players that work days as no life...but I would say the guy coming in whining about the occasional down time is the one with no life at all.

If they didn't care about the players, they wouldn't do maintenance. You should expect this stuff with MMO's, especially on Monday.

Give the guy a break. He just wants to play. It's all good. We all want to play when we want to play. However, there has to be updates so the game can continue to function properly. It's kind of like the weather. Hehe. There can be rain or an update at anytime.
