So how are we adjusting the prize? 1 roll and get them all or adjusted to where its based on the current # of entrants with some numbers filled in with a scroll and then roll d100 to see who wins it.

If everyone shows up we'd have to have it where two raid parties were coordinated with the people for winning scroll rolls.

I've received pms from people willing to donate some scrolls to the raffle. Could those people PM me if still willing?

Regarding the time...This weekend would be a maybe. Next week Weds during the afternoon (7-8p CT/8-9 EST) would work out well if we're wanting to get this going.

Lets just roll the D20 or whatever, and keep rolling until we hit someones number. It has been taking far too long, unfortunately.

I'm thinking people are going to be dropping out very soon and asking for their scales returned...

Well it startles me that we have such low interest in this considering the vast number of people who run Epic Dragon Raids on our server (especially in GRR).

If 20 people (just 3 more...ask your guildies) it'd be quite easy to divide the prizes up to:

10 scales Grand Prize
5 Scales 2nd place prize
3 scales third place prize
1 scale and epic scroll prize
1 scale and 50 kkpp
kitty prize - remains the same

17 people makes it harder to divide up the scales into tiers.

A d20 is impossible to do considering the scope of the area we have of numbers people have chosen. There's no easy way to just divide by 2 and convert positions for those with prime number positions.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to be in-game and advertising this more often, its just a really busy semester (and I probably should have taken some different work shifts

). But look, get 3 more and we're gold to go. If it happens by this saturday, we'll go on Sunday @ 8p EST. I'll try and log on tonight if I don't have too much homework to do and advertise for it.

Umm dude - you might want to count ME out of this raffle if you are changing the rules like that...

I have ZERO interest in a tiered system of raffling. If there is a possibility of winning 20 scales (or 17 close enough) then I am interested. If the largest prize is 10 scales - I want to opt out - that isn't what I signed up for.

Umm it was tiered from the start?

Sorry if thinking 50 was overambitious in terms of perceived interest, but look at the OP. The prizes were divided up into tiers from the start of the thing. Sure I could probably kick out the 4th and the 5th place prizes and put em onto the #1 spot for 12, 5, and 3. Would that be acceptable? Or if we only have 17 by Saturday, then fine, 13, 2, and 2 are the winning roll prizes.

****, should I just send the scales to someone else and let them take this thing over? I've been trying to do as much as I can balancing 100 pages of reading a day for school, work, and actually getting on here to still play. Sorry if I don't have enough xoriat control stones to shoot everyone who gets a scale out of the dragon with and make them come sign up for this thing.

Yeah... and top Tier was 20 scales - hence the only reason I entered even though I preferred the odds of the first one - cause second place is meaningless to me - it's just more scales I need to find a buyer for.

In no way to I mean step on any toes, I have watched this thread for a while, long before I had a scale, and know that you have been trying to make it happen.

I don't mind if it is a winner take all event with no other tier.
20 people submit 1 scale = 5% chance to win a set (not that you needed any help with the math).

If we only have 17 people it could still be winner take all.

We can either pick new numbers between 1 and 20 (17) or just roll the d50 until one of the numbers chosen is hit.

Or wait, my scale was only going to sit in my bank until it had friends anyway.

I think maybe you got a little overambitious with this one, R2.

Either scale it back (no pun intended) to just 20 scales winner-takes-all like the last one, or call it off and send the scales back.

Don't mean to be harsh, but either do it soon, or don't do it at all. Over a month is a bit too long to be waiting

You asked and you received. What's fail about it? Logged on, teleported to the bank and rolled it. Winning roll is there unphotoshopped. Would you prefer the fullsize screenshot along with a screenshot of the file itself from my DDO screenshots folder as more proof? Why would I have reason to fake it? People in this thread know me and I know them, so why cheat them out of their scales?
