The 3rd build looks the best to me out of the three.


It's a shame you can't work in at least a couple toughness enhancements, but I'm not sure what to drop to pick them up. The feats seem so tight with the Assassin and Kensei.

I kinda like the third build the best too. Enhancements are definitely at a point where you will have to lose something to gain something. One could give up extra action boost for 2aps to use on ftr and racial toughnesses to gain +20hp. I don't really see much else worth giving up. Glad you like the build. Thanks.

Read alot of posts and have been playing my wf fvs but felt like i wanted a change. i have started on ur build as it looks like alot of fun.

I went with the 3rd build and im curently up to lvl 5 and loving it.

just have afew questsions on gear. Im a new player with my other charcter only up to lvl 7 so i dont have alot of money. What sort of Khops should i be trying to save for and what armor and items are a must have for the lower lvls. Im really struggling finding good weapons other then +2 and i cant work out what armor i should be wearing. any help would be great

12 Barb has far less DPS than 12 Fighter unfortunately.

Some "must have" equipment is trap gear for search and disable. Also carry around fox's cunning and heroism pots for the extra help when needed.

Just get what you can for khopeshes. You will do plenty of damage with the base damage, sneak attack damage, and x3 crit multi. Try to find any type of bursting, especially holy burst. A holy would be great too.

You can look in house D, down the stairs from the auctioneer, and sometimes get lucky and find some decent ones. Also, go to ataraxia and see what the trader in there has. She is also a good person to sell stuff too. You will get a much higher price for your sales there. High level players dump some pretty good stuff in there sometimes so you might get lucky there.

Also, look in the auction house frequently. Start on the last page for the most recently posted ones. You are sure to find a fair deal if you keep looking. Eventually you will be able to do shroud and you will want to make some green steel ones.

You will want to wear light armor so you keep your evasion. A mithral breastplate is something to shoot for. Regular chain is something fairly cheap and fairly easy to come by that is decent and you can use until then. You can check the trader in house K for armor that people have dumped. Later on you will want to make some dragon touched armor.

Keep an eye out for gear that drops in chests. Ask people if they are going to use the stuff that looks helpful to you. Most people will just give you the items they aren't going to use.
