I suppose you could construed it that way, if you just want to pick a fight. But I was getting more along the lines of:

"Refusing to play with anyone else, because you believe them inferior to you" makes you stuck up asses.

To me Telling someone to **** off for a raid, just because they aren't guild material just seems...****ish. But hey, I came from an elitist guild on Khyber..sometimes you have a large enough guild to not fit Puggers. However, it sounds as though this is simple a group of elitists that don't want to chance failing in order to let some others get in on the fun.

Doesn't matter if the guild is large enough or not. Pretty much every member of a powergamer guild ( at least on this server ), is networked through 3-4 powergamer raiding channels. If you can't fill with guild, you fill from channels. PuGing is pretty much a non-issue on raids that aren't normaly PuGed.

I think that was the message a few of the posters here were trying to convey.

It just seems a shame that the Abbot has become a 'Cool people only' raid. No one that is not 'in the know' will ever get to do it, no matter how good they are. One person did mention a person that is willing to teach, though. I suppose that is something..can't expect everyone to be as helpful. To a lot of people, winning is a great deal more important than anything else. I can't blame them..they just want to be the best.

And I'm saying, that it's not really about that.

When you have a that large of a group of people who run with each other regularly, there's next to a 0% chance that one of those spots is open.

It's not about excluding the unknowns. It's about not giving unknowns a spot that is wanted by someone that everyone in the group knows, and whom they all enjoy socializing with.

You're reading more into it than is there, or even implied.

Eh...I think the implementation was there, but Implying something is always a wrong move anyway, so you are right on that behalf. I just took something the wrong way, and now it has been retified, and I have been corrected. Shows over, nothing else to see here.

To tell ya the truth, im starting to get tired of pugs, just no good experience with them, not sure how it is on the other servers, but the basic shroud, vod, hound and reaver are the only raids I can get completed by pugs on argo, but hey, maybe I'm just really unlucky
