Looking for 2 Mauls

I am looking for 2 Mauls:

A) Banishing Maul of Pure Good.

B) Holy Maul of Disruption.


If you have either of these and would be willing to sell them let me know what + they are and how much you want for them....obviously I would prefer undamaged items...but I will be willing to accept a little damage.


I would also be willing to trade them for small or medium shroud ingredients.

curious as to what you are banishing... even my maul using barb doesnt use a maul to banish anything, let alone something that needs pure good on it.

All the shavarath mobs in the vale....you need good to bypass a lot of their DR (Bearded Devils/Orthons) and they are all Banishable.

Seems like Banishing of PG would be the optimal 1 weapon fits all for that area....am I missing something?

It sounds like a good idea to combine dr bypassing with banishing, I tried it once, the only problem is that your essentially gimping either side of the equation. Because you're using a maul (crit range 20, or 19-20 with improved crit bludgeon) your limiting the amount of crits you're going to roll as opposed to using a rapier (18-20, 15-20) therefore limiting the number of banishments. On the other hand, since banishing is a lvl 10 affect on a weapon, you're also gimping the DPS you're going to get.

IMO you're better of sticking with a) a +2-5 banishing weapon with a higher crit range, maybe with a stat damager kicker. Or b) a High DPS weapon like Greensteel (holy or good burst to bypass the dr) or even just a holy burst of pure good weapon.

Either one of these options will help you take down the devils and orthans much faster than a banishing of pure good maul.

If he has stunning blow (or someone in his party is holding) I'd say the maul is worth a space on the hotbar, no?

I already have a Min II Greensteel Maul and a Lit II Greensteel Maul....plus a whole host of others (like greater elemental bane/phase hammer/stunners/trippers/smiters/cursespewing/stat damagers/Metalline PG/paralyzers etc).

This particular fighter is capped and I am looking to round out the weapons he has available for the next few months he will spend as a level 20 (while I get all the raid gear I want) and for his upcoming TR life.

But this is all beside the point....I am looking for the 2 weapons I listed....my reasons are my own...if you have them and are willing to sell them, let me know

I think their point is that you should check House D instead of the forums.

If you have a light2 weapon, I can tell you that there's almost nothing that's likely to fail its save vs a banishing weapon you won't kill in 4-5 hits.
