Yup the bug bites. I'm missing 2 store purchased banks after TR. Ticket in 10 days ago but no response. I can't find a way to confirm or track the "account support" ticket so I remain hopeful.
*Update:
Account Support emailed me saying points have been refunded, but I've not received any yet.
*Update:
Account Support insists the points have been refunded, but my balance is still less than 1/5 the refund amount.
*Update:
All better now. Refunded to full amount of re-purchase. (at least, until next TR).

I'd spend the points, but I don't trust that they won't be bugged...
So skipping the bank slots.
Thanks for the long time forum user purge of Aug '10 (Sarcasm for those who don't get it)
here is my story...
TR after update 5 locked me out of my bank and lost my extra bank slots
Account support refunded my point
repuchased extra bank slots
TRed again today and lost bank slots a second time
Still bugged. Although in game support can and will promptly fix the issue with not being able to get house k favor unlocked bank slots(2). could take a long time to get refunded tp for store bought slots. Hopefully turbine puts a WARNING on store bought bank slots and a notation when TR'ing to inform folks to instantly put in help tickets. Very annoying bug that should have been fixed asap instead of working on U7/U8 mods.
Sadly, if you have purchased BOTH bank slots on the eStore you will lose them every time you TR until the fix gets onto the live servers. If you have purchased just 1 you should be unaffected...or at least I cannot repro the bug with just 1 purchased slot.
Seeing as how the bug in it's standalone incarnation was brought to my attention only 2 days ago, there is simply no time what-so-ever to get this out for U6.

Ok, so from what I am reading, they have a fix for the lost bank access, if a toon has store bought bank slots, but we will have to put in a ticket to rebuy the two slots. and a ticket to access the bank? Next part of the question, what about our gear? Sounds to me, best NOT to TR untill U7/U8 or when they get it fixed.
The lost bank tabs will require a ticket as outlined here. The lost bank access bug is fixed and already live so that is no longer an issue. Not sure what you are asking about gear, everything on your character gets moved to the Reincarnation Cache on login. That is working as intended.

To be fair, it (the bank slots bug) was discussed a few times around the time prior to and after U5 and around the time of sale and partly addressed by Eladrin.
Was there a specific format that caught your eye Arakiel that we should emulate in the future for forum postings of issues?

And on a slightly related note, whats the procedure if you do not have access to opening a ticket in-game (tabs being purchased with the points from PAX East so not considered a money transaction to activate in-game ticketing).

How about if Turbine stops selling the 2nd bank slot till the darned thing is fixed?
No specific format would really help since the forums aren't meant as a bug reporting tool. The reincarnation subject line caught my eye is all and then CS corrected me on it being only related to the inaccessible bank bug. This is one of those cases where two bugs ere easily confused as one since both bugs only happen when you TR and the symptom is exactly the same (i.e. missing tabs). Though in the end they both have very different causes and fixes.
We occasionally find/hear about a bug via the forums but the Report a Bug feature in game is built to get our attention on the matter. The best bet is to use Report a Bug while in game and to put as much detail as possible in the bug description so that we can get a good solid repro of the problem.
As for not having access to tickets, if you go here, you can submit a ticket to account support for the TP reimbursement and they will forward it on to CS to fix you.

Might I request that the bug reporting tool be a bit more streamlined when the changes to the UI go through? As it is, it requires a decent bit of information that could be automated as a default, namely:
Quest
Loc
Character name
Character class
Character race
Server
Build
etc etc
The only thing that should be needed if a bug is reported on the spot (which I prefer to do) explicitly from the player is:
Drop down classification of issue
Whats wrong?
Is it repeatable and how?
With the rest of the the data automatically pulled unless explicitly done manually.
Personally, it is really annoying if I need to stop for 20mins mid quest to make sure I cross all my T's and dot all my I's to report something that I am unsure is even properly received, filed, and looked at. Help us help you, by removing the tedium for run-of-the-mill bug reports.

Actually this has been all over the forums for quite a while now. and was even commented on by other developers. a simple forum search lists many pages of postings dating back since U5 was released. I'm sorry indeed that you were unaware of this issue. How could we, as players, bring up bugs to the correct developer? If we see a developer comment on a bug, we assume(ya ya i know assumption is the mother of all fek ups) that the bug/problem is being addressed. But i see that is not the case in all issues![]()
i spoke with a gm and he was unaware and unable to help me with this issue.
might want to resend that memo in neon
so how do i get in touch in game with a gm who does know and can help me get this issue fixed?

The forums are most assuredly NOT the place to try and bring bugs to our attention. The forums are not designed to be such a tool, there is simply too much "noise" for it to be effective in that role. The absolutely best way to get our attention to a bug is to file one in game using the Report a Bug feature on the Help Menu. I know that isn't exactly what you might want to hear as there is no immediate feedback that you are getting heard and it is being worked on, but honestly it is the BEST way to get bugs in to us, bar none. Sometimes we get lucky and notice a bug being talked about on the forums but the forums are not an effective tool for that purpose.
