i have found that it works, but it doesnt show half the time on display. still shows in the combat log though

Its there - the font size is just kinda small. You get either a -2 STR or a -2 on each sneak attack, but it is smaller than the other font.
Hard to tell for me, I kill 'em too fast on my rogue to tell what effects are proc'ing except for blindness on my radII's.
In game ===> Toxn / Tayz / Teslah / Sisy / Sleastak
(Argo - Archmagi)
Works great for me, anything that lives long enough has -2 under all the damage numbers.
It is automatic so you don't have to do anything after you take the feat.
There is no floaty text for Crippling Strike like there is for a Weakening weapon. You can see the strength damage in the combat log ("You hit an Orthon for -2 strength.") but you won't see it above the mob's head.
Also, it's very rare to get a mob to zero strength before killing him since, by nature of the ability, each time you get -2 strength, you're also doing -150ish hit points. Unlike a weakening weapon, you're doing tons of hp damage simutaneously.

Yes it works, check your combat log. It doesnt work if its not a SA
I think it even shows up quite regularly, as a small, orange "-2". Can't imagine what else would do this small amount of damage.
Edit: I dont have greensteel yet.

It could be any number of things if you're using a greensteel. I typically get 4-6 numbers on the screen per hit.
And a weakening weapon will not just put up a "-2", it says "-2 STR" so I would suspect that if Crippling Strike showed the strength damage, it would look similar.
I have it on my rogue. I think it works, but I'm often un-sure.
Because it only works on sneak attacks, you don't have aggro. Because you don't have aggro, you aren't feeling the benefits of the monster loosing STR.
Considering it's a passive feat, it's one of the better rogue feats.
