    Default Rolling a monk soon

Getting VIP status in a few days and im curious if i could make a good monk with a 28 pt build that has good dps high saves and medocore HP? Any tips for a monk or even a 28 pt human/warforge build would be alot of help.

    Thanks.

Any monk is going to tell you that you should really wait till you have access to 32 point builds before rolling a monk, especially a WF monk.

Human or Halfling monk will be your best bet for a 28 point build though. Look at the Rockan Robin build, a lot of players swear by it.

Pretty good read but is there any way i could take his/her 32 pt build and turn it into a 28 pt build? even at the loss of a couple stats at lvl 1?

Not positive you could also take a look at my Metaru build and start him with 16 Str for a 28 point build. One thing though unless you are planning on doing a TR on the monk it might be more economical to buy the 32 point builds now vs. a Greater reincarnation later.

From what i read in your guide it seems like id need a +1 dex tome to even do it. im a new player so i dont think this would even be a option atm. Id hate rolling a monk and not being able to use TWF chain. how would a dex build monk work out? one that uses max dex for armor bonus with weapon finese feat so all the attack rolls get swaped froms str to dex.

Basically im wanting a 28 pt build that has decent hp/dmg/saves that uses handwraps or staffs and uses TWF. Think this is possible on a 28 pt build?

It's going to be hard to roll any monk without 32 point builds and tomes. Possible just hard.

How about this.... No matter what type of monk you build if you build it on Khyber I will give you a a +1 dex tome!

28 or 32 point build, it doesnt matter as long as you got the skills to play as a monk.
About 40% of your monks performance comes from your own playing skills, 40% from your gears/weapons and 20% from your build.
