I have only come across a couple. I joined a fleshmaker pug and there were these two RP'ers talking about the "strange creatures and intricate design of the dungeon." it was a very good group but I couldn't do more than one run. The constant "onward men, to our destiny!" gave me big time dou*** chills.

I ran into a WF that RP'd an entire WW run when I was on a lowbie. He spoke in all caps and said things like:
"*CRITICAL ERROR* UNIT IN NEED OF REPAIR"
"INITIATING AGGRESSIVE MODE"
"OPERATION SUCCESSFUL"
RP isn't my thing... but he was a cool guy to run with.
Want to remain guildless or solo, but still want to take advantage of the guild renown system?

Wander around the world, specifically the various taverns, and make sure to read bios, you'll find some RPers.
Fair warning though, be prepared for what you'll encounter...
Forged who act like robots..no bloody clue WHY, but that's what they do despite there being no reason for it.
Drow from the Underdark in Forgotten Realms.
My personal fav had to be the halfling who's bio gave her father as a human and her mother as an elf, hence her being a halfling...NOT a half elf but a halfling.
And the plethora of RPers who've brought their beloved 'insert world name here' characters to DDO and the Eberron setting without a single clue about the setting.
Me, I RP a bit, just for fun, but I've failed to find a good RPing group on Argo after 4 years of looking, so good luck on that. Try Thelanis, they do have some serious RP groups over there supposedly..or used to at any rate.
