    Default Ideal past life history?

What's the best past life feats for a Barb to have?

A monk twice for the +1 on damage rolls?
(I heard there is a limit on 2 TRs per character, is that true?)

Also, since I'm already a barb, is the past life feat I would get for TRing really worth anything? +10 hp doesn't make too much difference to a barbarian (If I wanted to be one again). What is a good class to have the Barbarian PL feat?

I will be corrected if Im wrong but I believe you can max past life feats 3x,so TR 3x as a monk would get you +3 to hit and TR'ing 3x as a barb would get you 30hp and so on.

Most classes benefit from the barb passive past life. +10 hp is good.

Selectable past life feat benefits any melee, since it's basically mini-rages, and acts like a toughness (+1 hp/level = 20hp). (non-melees might as well take toughness instead.

IMO, the top past-life's for a barbarian are monk (damage) or fighter (combat DC's).

Passive past lives can be acquired 3 times. Going monk, monk, monk, barb - will net you +3 damage.

It doesnt really act like toughness, it wont unlock the toughness enhancements. If the Barb selected Past life were working like the description states, it would not be worth having at all.

+10 hp is really not very impressive when you have 800-900 hp anyway.

Paladin past life is excellent, both the passive and the selected feat are great.

Monk past life is obviously decent, +1 damage per monk life.

But my above all favorite is Fighter Past Life, +1 Stunning Blow DC is a big win imo.

So i guess the PERFECT barbarian past life line up would include 3x Fighter, 3x Monk, 3x Paladin, and currently with the hidden past life barb effect, 1x barb.
    Eulogy- oh ninety eight

One more TR question: Does the selectable barb TR feat (the one where you rage) allow you to use your normal rage at the same time?

It could be useful if I can stack normal rage, TR-feat rage, and Frenzy at the same time. It might make it plausible to do these lifetimes: Barbarian->Fighter>Monk-> Barbarian again

The only downside I see is that barbarian is not a class that would find the extra build points all that useful. I'm already a 32 point barb, so I have max STR and high Con (I can't remember if I maxed that or not).

Would that be a feasible course of action?

Well just to let you all know i am currently running a true reincarnate wf barbarian whose atm lvl 16.

Too answer a few questions the monk pastlife only works for damage if ur using handwraps from what ive been told from the other trs as for the barb rage and the pastlife rage stacking its true but you must barb rage first then pastlife which only lasts 30 seconds. As for the barb stat points its very very easy to make one and max to 18 str and 20 con but if you ever want the choose to twf put into dex if you want more skill points (always usful) put the last points into int.

For me im gonna cap then get all the gear i could possibly want for him and my intima tank and wen half orc comes out then see wat i can come up with.

An ideal past life history in the long term is:

    3xfighter
    3xbarb
    3xmonk
    3xpaladin
    3xrogue
    3xranger
    3xbard
    1xcleric
    1xfvs
    1xsorc
    1xwizard

A more reasonaly history in the short term would probably be

3xfighter and/or 3xmonk. Fighter is probably better for the bonus to hit and bonus to stunning blow/trip, but that depends on your build.
