Online Loan Between Guild Members

I recently recieved a loan for 3K plat. from the leader of my guild. Before leaving my guild I repaid 3K + 300 plat. to my leader for being generous and helping me out. I sent the money throught the mail. He later found out that I left the guild and now claims he never recieved any repayment from me. Is there a way I can prove that I sent him the money?

If your former guild required you to replay such a tiny loan, never mind repay it with interest, you made the right choice to leave the guild.

You can't prove it, neither can he, and anyone who matters would laugh at any dispute over such a tiny amount so if he makes a fuss it would ruin his rep, not yours.

When I left my old guild to form my own to help out friends who were new to the game my old guild leader sent me a multithousand plat "Golden handshake" to help me out.

Ok Well, I'm new. So to start with nothing and have 3K to build a lower level character I thought was very generous. My new guild friend gave me a 10K sword just to help me out. Now I'm glad I left the old guild. Oh, and he threatend to tell my other guild members that I didn't repay him. What a jerk!

If you stop worrying about the "loan" and quest, you two can have enough to buy some burgers

As with anything, if you paid it back, dont worry about it. Anyone who thinks they can ruin another players rep over a burger, is a newb.

Seriously? Loaning a new player 3k? That's a joke and consider yourself taken advantage of. If he wants to spread the word, encourage him. He'll be the one who ends up looking like an ass. A vast majority of players take the "pay it forward" route (with much more than 3k). They help you, you grow, learn, accumulate wealth, leave newbdom behind and help a newb

Dude in all fairness to you, if he loaned you 3 k plat then he isn't worth guilding with. If he really wanted to help you out then he should of GAVE you more.
I'm sure you could look up anyone that has replied to this thread and we would give you the plat to send to him again.Then you could reply with a middle finger attached to it and tell him thank you for the hefty loan.

Find a middle man, and give him another 3.3k. Get it over with and have some proof. But just for the record...I'm not sure who's lamer..... but, its kinda sad that a Guild Leader doesn't help with his people financially some. Just for kicks sometimes, I go to korthos and hand out stacks of Cure Mod Pots (100) and 10k plat. You would be Shocked at how many peope quickly close the trade screen.... Its hard to be nice....
Money for most High level toons is not that difficult and less they spend tons of time shopping on the AH and not questing...
