Does anyone know if there are any plans to show what spells are on people in your party? I know I can just ask people but it is such a unnecessary thing to do, especially when i am in the middle of a dungeon and the adrenaline is pumping.

Hit the little magnifying glass/examine button on the selected person. It will show you all the buffs and how long on the person. Or just select them and hit 'x'

I think that there would be too much clutter on the screen if they did something like what you asked for. The magnifying glass thing is good enough.

having little icons next to the healthbar would just result in that bar beeing as long as half a 22" screen, considering the amount of buffs

They have what you're asking for in LotRO.
At endgame, there are so many buffs and debuffs flying around, that you'll have 3-4 lines of icons under each person... beginning to overlap the person underneath them. And forget about seeing pet status if it's a pet class.
Too much clutter. We wind up with loads of buffs here, too, it'd just clutter it up. If people need a buff or it runs out they should speak up.
Although, it can be nice, I do agree.

Having all buffs of all partymembers displayed at once would be too much, I agree. No idea how that should work in a raid. But the magnifying glass-method is a pain as well. How about displaying the buffs of the party member I've focused at that moment? Not that huuuuuuuuge list in the examination window with explanations of every single buff which is often too long to be displayed completely on my screen, but a neat string of icons I can place on my screen whereever it's convenient.
BTW, that's the method most other MMORPGs use. And not everything other MMORPGs established as a standard is bad or an easy button![]()

there is already a way to look at the information you are trying to find. my point is that having a change made to the to the way the games looks so that you know what buff is on a toon seems like a fix to something that is not broken. also could you imagine what it would look like in a raid if all 12 players had 15-20 buff icons above there head?
