Price Check: Tome of Untold Legends

I recently picked up Tome page II (the graphic shows V) from Litany, and was wondering what it was worth. Not sure if I should trust the AH for rare items like it.

I was also wondering about the values of the following:

Boots of the Innocent
Mentau's Goggles
Docent of Quickening

I find it hard to believe that they are actually valued at the 1-1.5m plat that they are priced at on the AH, but perhaps I'm being too optimistic.

it's not exactly super rare but it is nice. in terms of rarity, mentau's goggles are def the most valuable item on that list followed by the docent (the boots are really super common now)

Yeah, I got the sense that the Goggles were the rarest item, but I didn't know the Boots weren't that rare. I've 'sacked Vol a couple of times to pick them up and only keep getting that bloody Guardian's Liturgy dagger. I hate that thing...

It isn't a question of rarity, but more of a demand thing. Almost everyone you see in dragontouched armor will have +5 resistance in their first tier anyway (or be trying to get it), so they don't need the boots. Most of those wearing icy raiments already get +3 resist, and don't bother with a +5 resist item. Manasponge melees use their madstone boots most (or all) of the time, and a large portion of other melees use the dragon boots for freedom of movement.

That leaves casters and clerics wearing dragonscale armors, many of which just use nightshield (+3 resist) and use their boot slot for featherfall. I think one of the epic augment slots for items is +4 resist as well, so that drops even more people from the boot fanclub.
