    Question Healer's Friend

    The first tier of this enhancement gives 15% bonus healing. Next tier says 20%, so is that 35% total, or just a bump up to 20%? Maxing this enhancement out seems like a huge 12 AP investment for just 25% bonus healing.

    It's 20% total for tier 2, bringing a WF up to 70% of normal healing, instead of 50%.

    Yes. 12 AP for all three tiers is very expensive. All (non-arcane at least) warforged should have at least tier 1, and most should try hard to fit in tier 2 also, IMO. At least, that's how my WF are built.

    it really depends on what other healing amp gear you will have.

    if just leviks bracers, then tier 1 is really all you need (healer's friend boosts all other healing amp)

    if you plan on using something like leviks and a healing amp weapon, then tier 2 is kind of nice.

    tier 3 is a waste.

    Agree, Tier 1 a must. I try to build my WF melee like this:

    Tier 1 15%
    Tier 2 20%
    Add Hound Bracers for 20%
    Add DT armor or Finger Necklace for 10%
    Guild Ship buff for another 10%

    Total 60% or 55% if you want to save AP on Tier 2.

    Now that is what I call Healer Friendly

    Pretty sure the Finger necklace adds 10% to the base Healing Amp
    I know Docent of Blood does add 10% to the base healing amp
    (not sure if they BOTH add to the bottom if both worn)

    As does Healer's Friend

    WF base healing: 50%
    Tier 1 friend: 15%
    docent of blood: 10%
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    base healing: 75% (0.75)
    0.75 x 1.2 (leviks) = .9 or 90% healing amp
    WF base healing: 50%
    Tier 1 friend: 15%
    tier 2 friend: 5%
    docent of blood: 10%
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    base healing: 80% (0.80)

    0.80 x 1.2 (leviks) = .9 or 96% healing amp

    It's noticeable more with the 30% and the 20% amp items

    WF base healing: 50%
    Tier 1 friend: 15%
    docent of blood: 10%
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    base healing: 75% (0.75)
    0.75 x 1.2 (leviks) x 1.3 (greensteel weapon) = 1.17 or 117%
    WF base healing: 50%
    Tier 1 friend: 15%
    tier 2 friend: 5%
    docent of blood: 10%
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    base healing: 80% (0.80)

    0.80 x 1.2 (leviks) x 1.3 (greensteel weapon) = 1.248 or 124%

    I wear a dragontouched docent that is 10% & 20% and have a healing amp maul

    WF base healing: 50%
    Tier 1 friend: 15%
    tier 2 friend: 5%
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    base: 70%
    0.70 x 1.1 x 1.2 (dragontouched) x 1.3 (maul) = 1.20 or 120%
    ~~~~~~~~~

    on a 500 point heal, 5% is a wopping 25 hit points, not a huge deal

    the difference between 65% (just healer's friend 1) and 120% is

    325 and 625 (that's pretty huge, when dealing with an 800 hit point toon)

    Speaking from the healer's perspective on this one, anything that makes warforged more healing friendly is greatly appreciated. Tier 1 and the Hound stuff is lovely, and generally does the trick so far as I know. But if you wanna do more, no one's gonna complain about healing you.

    Now, if only fleshies would start removing their own curses...
    Kannyaheals, lvl 20 Cleric...Kannya, lvl 20 rogue...Kanbeats, lvl 20 intimitank...Kanya, lvl 14 halfling tosser...Kankan, lvl 11 pally thing...Kancast, lvl 18 wizzy

    I cannot agree more on all points!

    Not only is EVERY character helping themselves with bonuses to healing but they are helping those that heal them, Warfrog and Fleshy alike.

    It's totally true, I have a reliable source. You better reroll now.
