Exclamation Important information: Turbine Download Manager

Turbine Download Manager (TDM) is no longer available. You do not need to take any action to discontinue use of TDM, as the program will automatically uninstall itself, leaving only your game client. A small number of users may experience issues uninstalling TDM. Should you experience any such issues, we advise users to manually uninstall TDM and their existing game client, and then reinstall the game client by clicking here. Please do not reinstall a previous version of TDM.

After TDM removes itself, if you need help creating a shortcut to the game client, please see the steps below:

    1. Locate your Dungeons & Dragons Online installation folder.
    2. Right Click on the “TurbineLauncher.exe” file and select “Create Shortcut”. This will create a shortcut file in your game install directory.
    3. Copy the newly created shortcut file “TurbineLauncher.exe – Shortcut” to your desktop.
      • Depending upon the version of Windows, the new shortcut may also be named differently:
      • For example, on Windows XP it would be: “Shortcut to TurbineLauncher.exe”
      • Highly recommended: rename the shortcut to Start DDO, Play DDO, or something similar and easily identifiable.

Quick note for Vista and Windows 7 Users:

When installed on Windows Vista or 7 the game creates its icon in the "Games" panel. Details can be reviewed here.

After TDM was removed that icon should work but if for any reason that icon does not come up there or does not launch the game you can create one manually by following the steps below:
    1. Click on the Windows "Start" button and choose "Computer" from the list
    2. In there double-click on your C: drive (may display as "Local Disk C")
    3. Double-click on "Program Files" (note: if you see "Program Files (x86)" double-click on that one instead)
    4. In that folder double-click on the "Turbine" folder and then the "Dungeons and Dragons Online" folder

In that folder look for "TurbineInvoker.exe" (it might display without the .exe but it will be the one listed as an "application" and will have the red ddo "shield" icon).

Right-click on that file and choose "Send to" > "Desktop (Create Shortcut)" and that will create a desktop shortcut to launch the game from.
