first: you cant use +2 tomes at level 1.

Second: 13 con does nothing. If you are already going to use a +2 dex tome I would suggest dropping dex to 15 and raising con

Relying on +4 tomes is not that Reliable

don't forget the torc, 3 ToD rings, and marilith chain.

Though by the time you get those, you probably have a set of +4 tomes

EDIT: and the 3x TR in every class. What the heck is this build?

If you read between the lines, he put all his lvl-ups into CON; base 13 + 2 tome + 5 lvl-ups = 20. That's, uhh, one way to deal with an elf bard's low HPs, I guess.

    Cool Muah ha ha

I blame Elsongo for the current DDO economic crisis as well as any and all failed raids ever. He's just that good.....at being bad.

But really it is all your fault Elsongo

Definitely not true. Loot is easy to get - repeat the quest to 20th and you stand a reasonable chance at not only getting your item but probably a few others as well. Raid loot tomes, not so much. I have run many many epic raids and towers, and never seen a +4 tome anywhere near my name. It's not anecdotal or elitist or anything, it's just statistically, +4 tomes are very rare.

That aside, I'm really confused by this build...

Wow, lol quite the response here. Most of the gear, -the +4tomes I already own. My goal is simple, make a broad spectrum Elf Bard capable of dishing out a respectable amount of dps while maintaining a firm support role (CC, backup healer, buffer) I acknowledge that there are many Bards that can do any one of these better, but non will do them all at the same time with my level of proficiency.

That being said there is a lot that I need to clean up with on the build (tomes in the wrong spot ect) but like the build I TRed from, this one will be disgustingly effective as any one that ran with me in the months before I TRed will attest to.

    Feat: (Selected) Power Attack
By the time you reached that you should have 94 ability points at creation and should be able to max every stat and have some left..

Let me sum it up for you tho..

goal : generalist bard buffing healing damage and cc.

damage : Well this guy will be able to bring some damage to the table twf chain and the gear he has yea no doubts there.

    9.5/10

Buffing : It's a warchanter with some sp, buffing should be fine then again you miss extend in both of your builds wich will need a close eye on micromanagement on your tiny buffs.. still playable tho but not optimal.

    6/10

Healing : no empower no maximise no heighten and just relying on some crits and the tiny bard song magic 4.. worthless.

    4/10

Crowd Control : only means of crowd control you have is fascinate and that's where it stops. No focus enchant no greater focus enchant no spell pen no heighten cc wise worthless.

    3/10

    overal score 5.5/10 average.

Congratulations you made a warchanter with a sp pool.

More of a support role really. As a backup healer my role is to buy the main healer a little extra time to top player X up, not to be the main healer for a ToD.

By the time I hit 20 extend is for the most part a moot point with the exception of Haste, rage and the ilk which I ca cast in battle with no issues if we dont have a dedicated caster. Again, I play a support role and the buffs that really matter to a Bard are his/her songs.

Far from worthless. I am there as 'backup' not the main healer. A few cure mass mod, a spot of cure critical, a scroll or 3 and the main healers are having a MUCH easier time. I am support. I embrace that role.

Facinate, dance, Aggro CC, debuffs. . . . and those are just a few of my options. Also you might want to look at what those passive feats do for my spell pen. My only real challenge for CC are undead and constructs both of which can be oneshotted with either a disruptor or a smiter.

I think you might want to consider re-rolling your knowledge base.

Nope, just pointing out the flaws in your reasoning. Though it would appear that my playful aside hurt your feelings, for that I apologize.
