Server Down Time Extended To 11:00 A.m

For anyone planning on logging in around 10:00.
SERVER DOWN TIME EXTENDED TO 11:00 A.M. I am posting for turbine so they don' t have to, we all know it is coming. Never understood why they don't just say sever will be down from X to X and bring them back up on time. Ugh hopefully I eat my words on this one, but I highly doubt it.

Server downtime has now been extended until 12:00 due to the technical nipping out for a couple of ginsters to keep them going til they get their lunch proper.

Because they bring it up when its ready and not just to be on time?

The real question is why they don't add the Scotty Factor to their down time estimates. I spend years trying to get my IT folks to understand this but they are always so confident that they underestimate time for trouble. Basic rule...if you think it will take 3 hours, say 9. If you get it done in 9, you knew what you were doing. If you get it done in 3 or 4 hours - you are a miracle worker!

They almost went back up early then realized they forgot to break something new. Their scrambling now to re-implement the ladder bug across all quests.
